A cup holder item would not work for me - suction/dash holders heat up and melt in the hot sun - vent holders are worthless... this one works - works well - holds phone firmly in place - at eye level - easy install - well made.

Works well for holding your cell phone in the car. The only draw back for me is that the parts that squeeze the phone land against the volume and off buttons on my Galaxy A71. If I raise it higher it interferes with the mirror. The only way I can use it is to lower the phone so that the Clasps engage near the top of the phone. Not sure what the durability will be holding it this way. Only holds my 6 inch phone vertically.

It was cool when I first received it but then after a few weeks, the mounts would not stay in place and kept falling off my mirror.

Despite the claim that it "EASILY fits on any rearview mirror," it does NOT in fact fit the mirror of a Volvo S60 (and probably many other cars). It will not fit on a mirror that is "thick" (or deep, front to back).When I requested a refund, the seller wrote back and asked:"Can you send it to other customers in the United States, we will refund you.or do you like keep the item as gift to your friend as christmas present and new year gift."I declined, and have not heard back yet.

Love this, holds my phone steady and right where i need it to be. Also its not in the way of seeing out of my windshield. Has a way to tighten it or loosen it, and it swivels from upright to sideways very easily. Would definitelyrecommend this cell phone holder to everyone

Well I live in Texas and the temperature gets in the hundreds during summer. At the beginning it worked great, but the heat made the plastic go soft and it broke. Maybe if is made of steel or a heat proof material it will be an excellent to have. Also, the rear view mirror’s back, is not square, is kind of round, maybe made the phone holder a little bit round and maybe it will stay solid and in perfect adjust. Not recommended until material is fixed!

This phone holder did not hold the cell phone more than once before it just kept dropping the phone. Only 1 adult used it, so no one broke it. It is just poorly made & not worth the money we paid for it.
