Maalox is a combination drug with a local effect of neutralizing excess gastric acid, protecting and tightening the gastric and duodenal mucosa. Indications: hyperacidity, supporting duodenal and stomach ulcers. Action: local antacid effect gastric juice, astringent and shielding the gastric and duodenal mucosa. Dosage: 1-2 tablets should be sucked or chewed after a meal or during pain. Contraindications: hypersensitivity to aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide or any of the other ingredients. Severe renal impairment.
