Never going back to Oakley!
This is my third pair in about 6 years. Lost the first one to the sea. After about 2 years, the rubber cushioned lining was peeling off the second one, so I returned it via their Repair Program and got it replaced for a nominal fee. Had the third pair for almost a year and still going strong after many days in the sun and heat, dealing with sweat and the elements. The clarity during sunny days are great. The UV blockage and polarization allows me to see crisp edges while in intense sunlight. Costas provides a heavy duty case for storage. Wasn’t big into cases, but I keep the case in my car so I can protect the sunglasses from getting scratched. Also, it has the Oakley vibe, but at a lower price and better quality. Never going back to Oakley!

My favorite glasses Costa Del Mar.
The media could not be loaded. These are the best glasses ever. On the island, this is the number 1 brand everyone uses for hanging out, fishing, sporting for everything. These fits perfect and the color compliments the environment. I love the blue reflected mirror look and the blue glass. The glass looks natural and you don't even realize that you are wearing these glasses. Thank you Amazon!

Durable and great sun blockage
I have had these glasses for a couple years now and I still wear them every day. They are comfortable and extremely durable. I never leave the house without them.

These are very nice sunglasses. As others have pointed out these are fairly large sunglasses that extend around the face, but that is what I wanted. They do a good job keeping light out. I'm 6'3" and wear a 7 1/4 hat size. These fit perfectly. They are large but they look good. I find them to be light and very comfortable, not too tight but will stay on with the wind blowing. I have the mirror green 580P lens. They are very clear and cut glare quite well. I like these lens because they do a good job with bright sun but aren't too dark to wear all day. I hardly take them off my face except to go inside. I wear Oakley Flak Jackets for outdoor activities like baseball and biking, but these are my new go to for everything else.

Wow, I’m Impressed
After years of buying “cheap” sunglasses, I decided to take the plunge on a pair of Costa’s.I wore them to the beach today and wow! Crystal clear vision that also wiped out the terrible glare off of the water. Plus the polarization allowed me to see down through the water very well.I drive a boat 5 days a week all summer and will be glad to have these glasses on for sure.I am sold, but will be wearing a strap on them so I don’t lose them.

Ugh Amazon review interface is lame, but these ARE good glasses.
NOT glass lenses. Numerous reviews say that but they are poly/plastic. Period. There is no built in spring mech for the ear pieces. For this much $ you should get that...BUTThe optics for water and air sports are second to none. Put these on and go out to surf, boat or fly and you'll be assured of zero ambient light getting in around the corners and perfect polarized non-glare lenses enabling you to see everything in complete detail. They're expensive but worth it. Recommended and wish they had actual glass lens options, but these are darn good sunglasses that don't necessarily need a leash to keep them on your head in the water (although one is recommended if you're really going to surf or swim).

Quality Accessory Tool
These glasses provide great clarity and reduce glare significantly or entirely. I wear these when my other Costa glasses seem dark. These brighten the world and are best used shortly after sunrise (30-90 minutes) and 90 minutes before sunset. However, when the sun is barely visible across the horizon, it is best used on the side with the sun. When used correctly, they can extend fishing trips up to 30 minutes or until there is barely any light left. The only time it seems dark would be on stormy, heavy overcast days or on the opposite side without sunlight across the horizon, close to sunset. These are well worth it, especially when on-sale.
