My chickens love this food

I soak these in water before i feed to the Girls...they like them. there is a dusty part of the product that they don't seem to eat and doesn't soak well....beaks and dust don't seem compatible. Still I'm glad that this is the best grain I can feed my Girls next to totally free ranging them. I also feed BSF larvae and greens.

Very disappointed, mostly powder. And I thought the powdery substance looked weird but assumed it to be ground up grains even though it looked like sawdust. That was until I found chunks of pressed wood in it, I won’t be buying anymore. If I wanted to feed my ducks sawdust I could get for less than $60 a bag.

I use this as a supplement to the Layena my hens get. I have a feeder that holds 15lbs of Layena and I put this whole grain feed in a small trough feeder which almost acts as a treat. Yeah they make a mess picking through it for their favorite grains, and yes there’s a LOT of powdery waste.Somebody mentioned they add water to this and I kinda like that idea, might try that soon.It’s available locally for over $20/bag less but even at that price I’d go broke using it as primary feed.
