AN4C15005S4--21 AN4C15005S421 2.25" Star Knob 1/4-20 x 1.50" steel zinc stud black pp (Pack of 10)

I purchased these star-head screw knobs as they were the size I needed for some shop jigs, and they were much cheaper here on Amazon than in my local hardware stores.I was a little hesitant at first as at the the time of purchase the only picture of the knob was an artist's rendering. I installed some rivet nut inserts into an interior heat pump enclosure, and use these threaded knobs to secure the panels so they would no longer buzz and vibrate. I even have a couple extra, I may install a few more.

These seem OK but would be much better if the handles were solid instead of hollow. I assume they will work as intended but could have been better for the price of a bit of plastic fill.

Needed a way to mount quilts to the walls in our store for upcoming classes and found ideas for clamps made of wood. Wanted something stylish and durable that would be easy to use and these fit the bill perfectly! Great price and quantity in the selection.

stand-off between threads and knob is very small. Required multiple nuts to allow for a grip.

Good quality and great price. The knob sits fairly flat against the surface which is a benefit for cases where you don't want the knob sticking above the surface too much. However that makes it ever so slightly harder to turn comfortably compared to knobs that sit higher from the surface. I use them for woodworking jigs.

I used this to replace an adjusting knob on my 25-year old snow thrower, along with,  Innovative Components AN4C-5S3L-21 1.75" Star Knob thru hole  1/4-20 steel zinc lock nut black pp (Pack of 10) . The retro-fit works better than the original part.
