Frontier Co-op Cut and Sifted Stinging Nettle Leaf 1lb

This was well cut and sifted. It helped my loved ones with their allergies. I'm very pleased to have this on hand!

Tastes nice and works for my allergy symptoms

The leaves are fragrant and green, and there was no sediment in my tea after brewing. This is my first time drinking nettle tea. I followed the instructions on the bag and it made a pleasant cup of tea! I would describe the flavor as nutty and I'm happy to have this addition of tea to my collection of non-caffeinated dried herbs.

The last two 1lb bags I purchased were bitter. It doesn't state where it's from, but on the label is says "KSA."

Little pricey for nettles

There is only one store that I have found in Calgary that carries this and they run out all the time. I ordered this and it arrived in a timely manner. Will order again if I run out before I can grow my own batch again.

I'm usually happy with this company's product, but not with the nettle leaf. Packed well and clean, but so incredibly bitter it's undrinkable. I'm not sure what was in the bag but I am sure it is not nettle. I've been drinking it for years and know that the flavor can vary, but not like this. I contacted Frontier and they asked for the batch number and offered a 25 percent discount on my next order. This wouldn't cover the duty on it so I will not bother. I will try for a refund from Amazon and look for another supplier of Stinging Nettle. the real question is whether the stuff in that bag was safe to drink. I threw it out.
