Bought this because I wanted a larger plate. And ordered this because it stated it was 1.5 inch. Item as a whole is a little over an inch, but less than 1.25, and the plates itself are only an inch overall. Can't justify the performance of the product as I didn't actually use it, but the quality of the item looks really well made.

It works well but it's bent so you have to squeeze hard to straighten the hair. It also causes a lot of static.

Works great for straightening, not so much fo the beachy waves I bought it for. I guess I’ll have to stick to with wrapping strands around the barrel of a curling iron for that.

My daughter was giving this for Christmas she uses it everyday and is happy with this product

My wife and daughter seem to be very happy with this. The both use it everyday with out complaining. I just wish it had some kind of auto shut off. They have both left it on after use.

My hair straightener is the best no need for a chi this straightener rocks!
