Two Little Gardeners (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – January 10, 2006

I bought this book for a friend who had this book when growing up and wanted it to give to her very first child. I never knew how important this book was until the day she open it an seen a smile on her face that made a tear of joy come to my heart, Thank you for such a great memory that I will always cherish.

I buy this book for every baby shower. This one is ruined because you put a price sticker on the cover! I’m so annoyed.

I had this book as a child and I have many happy memories of sitting with my great aunt to read this with her. I am so glad my daughter can read this too!Illustrations are PACKED with detail and whimsy, text is poetic but still informative. Tells all about how things are grown on a farm and the hard work involved. Shows plants growing and goes through the seasons. There's a sweet song in the end too.Boys and girls will love this. Absolutely adorable and fun too while still educational.

My Aunt has read this to me every year at Christmas since I was a newborn. It's a book that makes you think about gardening, the pleasure of the outdoors, and the bonds of family. The illustrations of the titular gardeners are fascinating - my aunt will often stay on a page after she finishes reading the words just so I can look at the pictures.At the conclusion of the story, there is a song that captures the spirit of this golden book quite nicely. It is really a lovely song.

A sweet little story, slightly repetitive wording and a bit lengthy for a young toddler, but 2.5-3year olds like the rhythm of it and I absolutely love that it's a story about kids gardening!

A great little story about two children working hard in the garden and then reaping the rewards of their diligence, dedication, and efforts. I love how the book shows the children dealing with the various pests and problems that spring up along with all their vegetables.

The service from Amazon is so good. And the speed on getting it to delivery was great. I got to take it to my 4-year old Grandson for his birthday when I went to visit him. His birthday theme this year is all about planting, so I got him a bunch do children's gardening tools. This book fits in perfectly. And I am so happy with the service and product of Amazon.

I gave this book to my grandson in lieu of a birthday card for his second birthday. Like all Golden Books, it is adorable and classic, but not the best to actually read with its cardboard covers and lightweight pages. I loved it! Great for his collection.

Had this book when my children were little but could no longer find it to read to my 4 yr old grandson. Was thrilled it was still in print. After reading it yesterday for the second time we went into the garden and found an almost ripe tomato for him to pick!

A beautifully written and illustrated book, absolutely gorgeous music notation at the end. A wonderful gift for children and families who love nature, gardening, farming or making their own produce in ththe it backyard.

Excellent book to read to your child if you are planning to start a garden. The book goes through a whole year and describes in beautifully poetic language what gardeners do in their gardens in each season of the year.

Good read we enjoyed it.
