excellent light weight helmet.
I have the lower model F5000 and the latest Prowell F59R, both in medium size (my head is 58cm) the F59R is definitely cooler in hot weather due to having more air vents, lighter as well.The hardest part is getting the straps adjusted right, took me about a hour since mine were way too tight, however spending time to adjust the straps and height via built-in adjuster properly pays off.Mine came with the free Shark fin LED with supplied battery which you stick on top of the helmet or your bicycle(comes with bracket).Also comes with spare velcro stickers(10) which you can put inside the helmet where you like.5 Star helmet especially at Amazon's pricing.

Heads up
Having a slightly larger than average head, this is one of the better fitting helmets I have come across. There seem to be a few imperfections in the inner layer - just trusting they won't prove to be a weak point, but are rather superficial wrinkles from the in-mould process.The adjustment is great, with ability to alter both the height and circumference of the inner band. And the light is a great addition giving greate visibility both night and day.The only complaint would be that the reflective band does not seem to do what it is meant to- I suspect they forgot to incorporate any reflective material.

Safety comes first!
I'm not going to beat around the bush, with a long winded review. Do you require a helmet, that's of sound quality for the money, solid, and stylish? Well! Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Trying to find the right one was just a complete pain to be honest. But then I came across a video on youtube, demonstrating this particular one. Trust me. It can take one hell of a blow! So on that note, it will keep your head in tact, should you fall off, and take a bit of a knock. We purchased two of these, with them arriving very quickly, and superbly packaged. Result!

Good helmet for the cost, well built construction however let down by the inner sticky velcro bits. I'd still buy again tho!!!
Well this product is made of a fairly strong construction, has a good build specification/ standard which ensures reliability when needed!!! The only reason this product doesn't get a 5 star is that the sticky verco bits that are mounted inside the helmet tend to part from the helmet too easily. Spare sticky velcro bits are supplied however are not too great. If you are looking for a fairly decent helmet for the money which will protect your noggin when needed I would recommend this product. I also have a fairly odd head size roughly 58cm and I find the large to be perfectly accommodating. I hope you find this review helpful.

Great value, great fit
I bought one of these helmets for myself a few months ago. I didn't really want to have to wear a helmet, but finally thought better safe than sorry, and looked on Amazon for one which I thought I would be happy to wear. I didn't want anything too large on my head, I wanted one that was quick and easy to adjust for fit, and I didn't want garish colours. I have been delighted with my helmet, and am impressed with the simple but efficient adjustment system. I barely notice that I am wearing it. When my wife recently decided that she wanted to have a helmet, having tried mine, I ordered one for her, and she is equally pleased. The low price makes it excellent value for money, with the added extra of a free SharkFin rear light, which attaches and detaches from the rear of the helmet very quickly. I highly recommend the Prowell F59 Cycle Helmet.

Perfect for us
We ordered a number of special disabled cycles for our disabled students at Doncaster Deaf Trust, to set up a cycle club. We were able to order to same helmets, but each colour was a different size, which made them perfect for us

ok but not great
doesn't feel very safe, very plastic-y, doesn't sit very firmly;only advantage is it's quite airy (doesn't make you sweat that much)would recommend spending 10£ more and trying them first in a sports shop and buying them there

Great helmet
I'm one of those people who worried about feeling self-consious wearing a helmet on a bike. But when you consider the safety aspect, I figured I need to get over my fears and get a helmet. I have a large head, about 27 inches around the forehead, so I needed a large helmet and I really liked the look of this one. It fits fine once I'd let out most of the straps. It's quite confortable and allows for air to flow between the shell.
