Occasionally I need to take close-up product pictures, and perhaps I'll bring this close-up filter along hiking around wildflowers next Spring. Put another way, I needed occasional macro functionality without the high cost and weight of a real macro lens. Essentially this is a thick magnifying glass with a grip around the outside ring. The grip looks like a focus ring but it's simply a grip. The filter's 77mm threads mate securely and smoothly with the step-up ring adapter or 77mm threaded lens.So far I've used this on two Fuji XF lenses: 1. 16-55mm (1.5x factor camera, so 83mm film equivalent ) and 2. 50mm prime (75mm film equivalent). This close-up lens is somewhat heavy, so it was better suited to the lighter/shorter prime lens. Note that I've only used auto-focus because the Fuji system isn't suited to manual focus.The product works as advertised as I can get much much closer to the subject. I'm not qualified to quantify distortion of this product vs. a real macro lens. However, for what I do I'm pleased with the product. I deduct one star for the pricing but don't let that dissuade from getting this as a smaller more affordable

The nisi close up lens is an amazing product - I use it with my 1:1 120mm macro lens to get magnification approaching 2:1. The image quality is good, without the loss of light with use of extension tubes. Using the nisi lens makes it a lot easier to take macro photos in natural light. If you use a very sturdy tripod, mirror lock-up and remote trigger, and a focusing rail, you can get great shots. This photo is a little blurry because I didn't have a remote trigger or mirror lock-up on that digital camera. I don't have a measure of the flowers, but they were very, very tiny! A very handy lens that I use all the time. Highly recommend!

I was overly impressed. Ordered and it arrived the next day. The product is a game changer. Seller earned my future business.These images were taken with a 70-200 mm f2.8 lens. I took 31 images and focus stacked in photoshop but the detail in each shot of the focal plane was tack sharp. It does turn any lens into a macro lens and the real test will be to see what can be achieved when I use a macro lens with the NISI. I have great expectations.If you love shooting Macro, do not waste your time buying anything else. This adapter is a beast.

Love this!! Easy to install on camera, great results and comes with storage pouch when not using. Takes a little practice for the sweet spot when taking pictures. Have Fun!

This is a great addition to a macro photographers bag. The images posted are of a wooden model, before the filter and after filter was added. The pictures were taken with a Tamron 70-200mm lens, set about nine inches from the object. After the first image was snapped, I added the filter, did not change any settings on the camera for the second image. You decide whether the filter works or not. As for the other images, I used oil, water, and marbles to obtain the image.

The lens itself is very high quality, but this unit is so heavy that it causes my zoom lenses to retract if I point it upwards at all. Plan to use it on a prime only!

Rien à dire à par Super !Très bonne combinaison avec mon objectif 70-300 mm (avec achat d'une bague 62-67mm pour l adapter).Il faut de la patience mais le rendu est vraiment top.Livraison très rapide. Estimation entre le 5 et le 25 mai, reçu le vendredi 30 avril.La qualité est la. Très bonne alternative avec un objectif macro, si on veut se lancer en photo macro.Je recommande 😊 !

Excellent piece of glass. Not much distortion and almost no CA....1000 times better than the diopters. On shorter lens the DOF and working distance get very shallow.. I get a good working distance on my 100 400 lens... price little high...

Be non ci sarebbe molto da dire sulla qualità di questo prodotto, se acquisti un prodotto NiSi vai a colpo sicuro.Comunque, la lente ha una buona struttura, robusta e ben fatta già solo prendendola in mano si riesce a capire che il prodotto è ben fatto.Inclusa c'è una custodia molto comoda che la rende facile da trasportare, e gli anelli adattatore sono utilissimi per poterla utilizzare con la maggior parte degli obbiettivi.Per quanto riguarda la qualità dell'immagine, che dire... Ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso, credevo che l'immagine avrebbe avuto perdita di qualità o altro, invece la perdita di qualità è davvero irrisoria, ovviamente dipende molto su quale obbiettivo la monterete, se l'obbiettivo è di scarsa qualità ovviamente anche il risultato lo sarà ma se lo monterete su un obbiettivo come il mio sony GM, rimarrete a bocca aperta.Sia chiaro questa è una lente per adattare gli obbiettivi che già avete, se volete la qualità "suprema", dovrete sempre rimanere su obbiettivi fissi macro appositi.Per quanto riguarda l'assistenza, ottima come sempre.
