Found this item to be great they keep you warm but not to hot to the point of sweating they alow your skin to breadth and are water resistant I would recommend these

These worked well, certainly shower proof but eventually let in the water in the face of a Dartmoor torrential rain driven by gale force winds. However, they dried out quickly afterwards.

Reading other reviews there seems to be some confusion and misunderstanding about the pros and cons of a good outdoor/cargo trouser. The main thrust of them is that they should keep you mostly dry and not feel even the stiffest breeze through them. They are water resistant and not waterproof, but such is the lot of any material other than a true plastic over-trouser. Equally they may be too insulated for some warmer days, but how can one pair of trousers deal with that? If you are doing vigorous exercise on a mild day then the human body might perspire!(Clothing such as nylon boys shorts with inbuilt underwear can help if that is your problem, but it would be up to you to do the mix and match experiment.)Looks and design are not for me to tell you about, but I like the grey and with black knee reinforcements. If you don't, other combos are available.  Elastic top with belt hooks, but no belt. Not even a cheap one. Point away. Beyond that no complaints. Been out in them in the light rain and I have to say they are especially good for mountain biking: My main outdoor activity. No knee restraint at all. Certainly a step above, say, jeans.If you spend time outdoors in all weathers,  specialist clothes can make all the difference. Very happy with my purchase and you will be too, just as long as you remember it is only a pair of strong trousers and not Jesus....

My issue was with the sizing and the ordering the correct size was very hit and miss. I order two pairs and hoped they would fit. I pre-read other reviews so I guessed the size and as it turns out they are a perfect fit so if your 6ft 4in then a 40 is for you. Easy access to the front pockets but the rear pocket is a little fiddly , very lightweight good quality finish. would buy again.Very pleased, they roll up to a nice small size ideal for carrying in your bergan. Found them to be excellent for walking/mountaineering tough wear resistant material easy to wipe clean.

These trousers are not true to size. The waist on the 34 inch was roomy - which was ok but... The knee pads were on my shins. I'm 5'9" and suspect I would have had to be at least another 6 inches for these to fit properly. It's a shame as the quality of the thick fabric seemed nice and comfortable against the skin. The black Friday deal was great value for money too. It's a shame. Had to return.

Use these a lot doing my wildlife photography and walking. Well made, comfortable, roomy enough and water resistant (not waterproof and don't claim to be). Dry quickly when do get wet. All zips still working well. Material standing up well to lots of use, would recommend.

These were recommended to me by a friend at work and as i work in the water industry outdoors these are brilliant, nice and warm so no need for long johns, water resistant, there easy to wipe clean, they dry really quick, excellent quality, and they look the part, smart and professional, im so impressed with them ive just purchased the jacket to match

Habe die Hose im Winter testen können, sie hält gut warm, trocken und ist winddicht. Sehr bequem durch elastischen Gummibund. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert. Würde die auch in anderen Farben kaufen.

war überrascht, dass sie Hose passt obwohl ich mit der Größenangabe nicht so viel anfangen konnte.Ich hatte es nur vermutet das es die Größe sein muß.Hält warm und ist für meine Wanderungen mit Hund ideal.

Hält schön warm und ist wasserabweisend wie versprochen.Wenn es wärmer wird kommt man auf jeden Fall schnell ins schwitzen.Über die Verarbeitung gibt es bislang nichts zu meckern.Für meinen Geschmack könnten die Beine etwas schmaler sein.Für den Preis auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.

It's not for cold weather

…schmusig weich innen und hoffentlich wirklich wasserdicht! Am overnighter abends angezogen und in die Nacht gegangen… auch am morgen schön warm. Sitzt gut und genug Bewegungsfreiheit. Bei Plusgraden vielleicht etwas warm beim Wandern. Bleibt definitiv im Rucksack dabei als Wechselbuchse.
