Perfect fit
Perfect fit for replacing a broken tie down on my Weekend Warrior. The original tie down was broken when I bought the trailer used. This one looks OEM. Not sure about the weight rating, but based on the diameter of the ring, I would never expect it to hold 1200 lbs. Of course, I never trust the weight rating on any tie down. My motorbike only weighs about 600, so I think it will work fine for my purposes.

Excellent quality and better than what it replaced 10 fold
Upon return fro a trip, I noticed two failures on my recessed tie-downs on my toy hauler. Both D-rings had spread apart causing the ring to become free from the rest of the tie-down and freeing the load for unwanted movement. These D-rings are not open, e.g., they’re a solid piece whereas the previous models are not. Bottom line- these are a truly “rated” tie-down which utilized a better design and adds an extra bolt hole to secure them to your base material. 1,000 times better than what was there. I’m ordering more to replace ALL the substandard ones I currently have.

Exact match for Thor Motorhome Dog/Tie-out Option
For those of you with a Thor motorhome that offered the exterior tie-out for dogs, this D-Ring is an exact fit. Our coach had the hole in the electrical/battery cargo bay floor down below, but was not ordered with this option from the factory. I installed this unit within 10 minutes, and works GREAT. It's an exact match for putting this option in. Very sturdy, too. We have ours hooked up to two 15 foot leads for our dogs when at the campsite.

D-Ring Failed on first use
D-Ring Failed on first use pulled out like the ring was of low grade steel. Original tie downs were in use since 2007 when I had a my first failure.
