PleatcoPAP200-4 Replacement Cartridge for Predator 200 - Pentair Clean and Clear 200, 1 Cartridge

My local pool supply charges almost $100 more for a similar filter. I have been ordering one of these filters every spring for the past several years and they hold up to regular use and biweekly cleaning. I’ll continue to order these filters and highly recommend them.

It was time to buy a new filter cartridge for my Pentair Clean and Clear filter, but it is nuts how much they charge for their replacements. I was leery about buying a third party replacement, because I've seen some poor quality filters in other sizes in my day. I was very pleased with this Pleatco version. It feels very high quality, and the price was significantly better than Pentair's. It fit very well - just be sure you are putting the correct side at the top, since one side has a smaller opening (as designed by Pentair)

The inside top and bottom flanges needed to be cut slightly using a box cutter (by 1/8 inch) to make the filter easily slip on the filter housing, the manufacturer needs to address this quality issue since all customers may not be resourceful and return the product since it will not fit.

Great replacement cartridge

This is a pool water pump filter! It is heavy, requires cleaning and it is not that easy to install or remove for cleaning. But all those are expected considering the size and the conditions that it is submitted to. Bottom line, it is durable and does the job well. Whenever mine gets "worn out" I buy a new one of the same brand and from Amazon. Good product!

Fits great second time purchasing. Bought one saw how good it was bought another so I can switch out to a fresh clean one. I rotate them and have it on stand by.

Queda a la perfección, se ve de muy buena calidad, funciona muy bien, el de la marca original esta carísimo, ya me urgía cambiarlo, duró el original dos temporadas, y eso q lo limpio cada semana, pero era urgente el cambio de filtro, el nuevo quedó perfecto y funciona al 100, excelente filtro y buen precio!!!
