I’m going to get sad writing this but I purchased this item about 3 years ago during the pandemic for my indoor cat. I thought while I was home in lockdown my cat might like going on some “walks” outside with me. My cat LOVED this backpack to the point where if I brought it out he would try to get into it immediately! It’s comfortable for both the cat and owner! Sadly he suddenly passed away a year ago. I just saw this in my previous purchases and it made me smile thinking about how happy this backpack made my cat and the memories we made that will last a lifetime!

She can be in it, but very briefly. She has to sit up (cannot lay down), and is a bit crammed with hardly any room to move. It would've worked better for her a year ago, when she was younger, and only 1/2 the size she is now.

We just recently rescued our kitty Val for our 10 year old daughter, she was about 4 weeks when we did and I have gotten her the playpen (a must have) a shoulder carrier bag (this backpack is our 2nd one) we have almost everything for grooming, tons of collars even with a bell on (no more ninja surprise attacks)My daughter loves animals, my husband started a walking program for the family except for me because I am stuck in the hospital but they started getting “COVID-19 fat” they could have left Val home but she needs to breathe fresh air too.The backpack is comfortable for daughter to carry even thou she is a child and the space for Val is good that way she doesn’t have the space to pace around the bag.Overall the bag is good for Val & my daughter.

The straps are well-padded, but broke after maybe 5 uses... It'd be more comfortable if the back had more structure, it tends to bend at the middle, and the soft plastic will cave in, swishing poor kitty if I'm not constantly adjusting it. If the back was more rigid and not so soft, I don't think it'd happen.She's a midsized kitten, if she was full grown this bag would be too small. Also she's quite light, but somehow feels heavy in the backpack, kinda hurts my back after a while. But you get what you pay for, I'll stitch the strap back on and keep adjusting it, it's nice to be able to take kitty on walks with our dog, she loves it! Don't let your cat cook in the sun, even with all the venting, it's almost like a little greenhouse in there.

Hey I like this backpack. I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect one and ended up picking this one just to try.My cat is 10.5 pounds for reference, I tried it out with an 8 pound cat as well and another a little larger than mine. It was sturdy enough to hold my cat, and she is very relaxed and adventurous normally so she took to the bag pretty well.You can wear it on your back or front and there’s clips to prevent it from unzipping.I like how it’s clear but let’s see how that will work on a sunny hiking day.Overall, it’s a little small size-wise. While my cat can sit in it she’s can’t really lay down or stretch out. However, it seems strong enough to last awhile.

My kitten really loves being in there I’ve only used it to take her to the vet so far but she was real comfortable in it and it got a lot of compliments

I have 2 cats, a 12 year old 10lb cat and a 14 week old 3lb kitten. The 3lb kitten fits in this just fine, but there is NO WAY the 10lb cat could travel in this comfortably. It is WAY TOO SMALL. The advertising picture of this that shows a cat inside is photoshopped to show an adult cat shrunk to about the size of an 8 week kitten. If you want a carrier for a tiny kitten, this is perfect. If you want to be able to use this after the cat is a few years old, forget it! Get something else.
