The item received well packed in a nice box in a timely manner. The product is amazing! It is razor sharp as advertised and makes zesting lemons or shredding Parmesan cheese effortless. The size is larger than I anticipated, but actually it is the best size for this purpose. It washes easily just by rinsing it under running water. Highly recommend!

I have used many a zester in my day as I am an avid cook and baker. This is actually a top notch zester with a wide surface area, good grip, stand on the opposite side to lean it over a work surface, and sharp little blades that easily zest. I am impressed!

Okay, other than being WAY longer and bigger than I expected (because did I read the specifications--no, I did not), this works like a charm to really quickly and efficiently remove the zest from lemons. I expect it to work just as well as a hand grater when you just need to do a small amount of something when a food processor seems like overkill.I've been baking a lot, and I LOVE lemon flavored everything (and citrus, in general). The grater I had before had gone missing (how something like that could even disappear, I have no idea). Finally I gave in and ordered this one. It is very light to hold, and the metal just slides over the surface of the lemon with ease. I have arthritis in my hands, so this was a literal relief to have something that works so effortlessly.The zester comes with a cover and a tiny brush for cleaning. However, despite my five-star rating (I would actually rate this a four and a half if I could), getting it clean really isn't that easy. It looks a bit delicate for the dishwasher, so I did give it a good rinsing under the tap while using the brush, and it still took some doing to get all the bits out. You don't want to actually TOUCH the metal cutting bits to avoid grating your skin off.Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase, though at this point I'm not sure how long the tool will last.

I am always zesting lemons it seems and the grater I was using wasn’t for zesting so I finally ordered a real one. I love that this comes with a cover and a little cleaning brush! That really helps to get out all the little lemon peel from the tiny zesting openings. This tool makes quick work and a nice finely zested peel for all my awesome lemon cakes, pies and custards. I even froze some of the zest with some lemon juice so I could use it in the future since I was able to get an even greater amount from using this zester. A+

This zester has been a lot of fun using in my cooking. I love fresh grated hard cheeses and was getting tired of constantly having to get my big food processor out to grate cheese when all I sometimes need is a few tablespoons. The ease of using this zester not only saves me time in creating delicious meals in prep, but also in clean up. The design is perfect for all my needs. I have zested several different things, oranges, lemons, limes, ginger, garlic, and of course cheese. I love the fine shavings I get using this zester. And the clean up is a breeze. It's nice and sharp so you don't have to press hard at all. My family especially loves spaghetti night now, because I can shred a fine dusting of parmesan onto their plates right in front of them just like they do at fancy restaurants. The length is perfect, it's sturdy and lightweight, a great kitchen tool. This would make a fantastic gift for anyone who likes to cook!

I have always wanted a zester like this and I was trying a new recipe that required the zest of 4 lemons. I was able to zest the lemons and wash up the tool in less than 5 minutes. I felt much safer while using it because it is long and I could place the rubber foot down on a plate while I zested. The zested product came off as very thin ribbons and there was no pith. When I washed the zester by hand, I was very careful to wash with the grain so that I would not get cut. I washed it immediately so I did not need the brush that comes with it. It also comes with a cover that snaps on and off with ease. Great purchase!

Why didn't I buy one of these things AGES ago?! My first use was to zest a slice of a lemon. I use tons of lemons in iced tea, but try to save the peel for cooking. It's hard to zest a mere portion of a lemon, but this tool does it like magic. I was amazed how much more of the good part of the peel this tool could remove—without getting the bitter white part—than my old zester. One iced-tea-sized slice yielded twice as much zest as I usually get, and with next to no effort. I'm kicking myself for not having discovered this item years and years ago. A kitchen "must-have".

This has come in handy so many times! I love how it fits nicely in the drawer (and doesn’t get stuck so I have to wrestle to get the drawer open) and the little cover that goes over it. The blades are super sharp and get the job done quick. The little brush helps get the tiny pieces that can get stuck off, so then it’s really easy to wash. Great addition to my kitchen gadgets!

Lived up to all the hype. It grates and zests with ease. I like that they thought to put rubber at the end of the item to grip the counter while you grate/zest so you don’t slide around. It cleans with ease and comes with a cover to protect the sharp edges from being damaged and from damaging hands as you reach into utensil drawers. All in all a great buy.

This is a well made kitchen tool. The cutting edges are very sharp, and yet you can run a sponge to clean the underside without cutting the sponge. You can even run the sponge along the topside -- towards the handle instead of away from it -- and clean it without the cutting edges damaging the sponge. Used on mozzarella or Parmesan cheese, it leaves beautiful shavings. Also excellent for zesting lemons or limes. The blade guard protects those cutting edges, and you hands when it's stored in a drawer. All in all, a great product!

I really looked fwd to getting this thinking it would be “the zester” I’d have forever, but that is not the case. I don’t know if they sent me a “used/returned” one, but it seems the grating edges do not extend out from the surface enough so zesting a lemon is time consuming, zesting a lime is basically polishing the fruit skin, and trying to grate a clove of garlic is just a wearisome task at juicing it :(. It is Not a sharp kitchen tool as they claim. I’ve used it maximum 3 to 4 times since I purchased and now it sits at the back of my kitchen utensils drawer, forgotten. (Well, until today. I saw it again and thot, “I bought this thru Amazon. I’m gonna rate it because I can :)”. Maybe??? someone will reach out to me... maybe someone will replace it or refund my $. If not, I can probably use it to hold a door open when I need to.

Wow when I used it I didn't realize how dull my old one was, I grated a lemon so fast and so perfect. It is a great size to lots of area to grate on. I love the juice of ginger so I gave that a try, it was so so easy to grate and I got a lot more juice out of it because it was so easy to grate it didn't mess up the ginger because of the ease. Highly recommend it (plus it got to me really quick)
