First impressions
I just unboxed this water dispenser. My initial reaction is the unit's exterior is pretty flimsy with cheap plastic but kinda to be expected. It seems to support 3 gallons (of 5) just fine. I tested the water after about 10 mins of heating up, and the hot water was 175 degrees fresh out of the tap. The cold water was about 63 degrees, pretty much the same as a faucet.. which was a little disappointing. The hot water has a nice flow rate, surprisingly the cold water is about half that rate (its pretty slow). The unit doesnt leak. The cooling fan is noticeable when close to the machine but not crazy. If there are any questions I'll try to answer them.

Stay Away + Bad Customer Service
I bought this in hopes of using less fridge space for a water jug. It worked great for hot water (nearly burns you) and terrible for cold. It never really got cold enough and it was a hair above a trickle to fill a cup. I am sure I can pee quicker than this thing dispensing cold water. So I go ahead and fill out a return like I normally would on Amazon and ship it back. Amazon contacted the seller for me and asked about a prepaid label. The seller tells me after I shipped it back that I should've contacted them for a prepaid label instead of returning via Amazon. Now I am out $30 and all I have for it was terrible customer service on a product that piddled out mildly cold water.

cheap,cheap
not cheap but very cheaply built. looked and operated cheap. hot water quit within the week and cold quit within a month. took to dump within 1 month. next bought a Nutrichef brand for just alittle more money but a class better in feel and quality.

Smaller then expected.
Not impressed. Noisy fan. Dispensing area too small for normal sized glasses. Have to tip to fill. Works as described though. Hot water for hot drinks, cold water on demand.

Great for price but one real issue.
It's flimsy and doesn't get super cold but for the price I don't mind. 2 issues: 1. They wired the LED status light wrong, it turns green as soon as it's turned on then turns red once it's fully chilled. Pretty sure that's backwards. 2. The 4 gallon water bottle I am using is very thin plastic, much thinner than most large water bottles. No problem first month or so then the air return function stopped working correctly. Instead of air going back into the bottle to replace the water used, the bottle gets squeezed until it distorts enough to not seal at the bottom and starts leaking. Probably would not happen with a heavier duty bottle which I will try soon.

Competitive price
We drink only filtered water in bottle refilled from Glacier machine. There is a water dispenser stands in the living room to hydrate the whole family. But I also need one on the desk in office on the 2nd floor. Originally, I was considering the ceramic dispenser from Walmart, until I saw this one. It is simple question then. The ceramic one just holds the water, while the electrical one can heat and chill the water, and they are in almost the same price. To be honest, I go what paid for and this is not the best one on the list. With the availability of instant chilly water in that price there is nothing to complain.

Doesn't last long before not functioning properly
Back in March I ordered this for my daughter's new home she was going to be getting. She closed on her home and moved in 2 weeks ago. In a week and a half the cold water stopped dispensing and the fan motor will not stop running. I'm hoping to get an exception on the return policy and have this replaced with a new unit as my daughter has well water and prefers bottled water. If not than I would say this was a total waste of money and strongly advise against buying this item.

A wee bit messy
I bought this as a countertop water dispenser at home and have been VERY happy. May even consider getting one for work. Easy plug and play. Small kids in the house so I like that there's a switch to turn the hot water OFFIt's a little trickey getting the bottle into the top with a refillable 3 gallon jug, but may be easier if it was kept lower., I lose about 4oz of water on the countertop each time I put the jug in. The workaround being if a second person can tilt the base you can get the jug on with no spillage.
