Between depth, resilience, and diameter...and enjoying these already...impressive stability afforded by the flat base , nice thickness to the bowls without being very heavy (I can lift all nestled bowls readily), and I the depth of the bowls should allow for a fair amount of vigorous mixing, such that the mixing "water line" should stay comfortably below the rim in most situations. With most multi-bowl sets, I suspect you will never get the very deepest bowls, as that would likely require a special one-off purchase for a particular sized bowl.

The bowls come in various sizes, so there’s sure to be one to meet your need! They are easy to clean! The bowls have just the right thickness to keep things hot or cold depending on what it’s holding!

These are my favorite to use for all types of cooking, prep, salad bowl, or popcorn. Thickness and shine that resembles high quality. Sizes are great for all my needs. Other reviews are correct that there is a black residue around the rim that I had to spend some time rubbing away before use.

These are beautiful bowls. They stack nicely and do not stack higher than the largest bowl which is about 4 1/2". They have maintained their shine after a couple of weeks of daily use.I read the reviews about the black on the fingers and hands after handling them. Upon taking them out of the wrappers, I rubbed my fingers under the lip and did indeed get black on them. So prior to using them for the first time, I took an old toothbrush and Bar Keepers Friend (I suppose you can use Comet or Ajax), and scrubbed under the lip. If you do this, be certain not to scrub on the bowl itself as it will leave marks!After the scrub and rinse job on each bowl, there was no more black coming off on my fingers. Yeah!!I Love these bowls and they are great to use! Glad I made the purchase despite the "black" reviews!!
