Macwheel Electric Scooter, 17 Miles Long Range Battery, Up to 15.5 MPH, 8" Non-Pneumatic Tires, Portable and Folding Commuter Electric Scooter for Adults (MX3)

The pros: 1. Great price for the scooter you get. 2. Tires are foam filled so you don’t get flats and they ride smoothly like pneumatic tire’s. 3. Batteries are in the vertical handle support portion of the scooter meaning the foot deck is slimmer than most scooters this helps less bottoming out on speed bumps and no exposed wires from the deck to the vertical portion as in most foldable scooters. 4. LED display is bright white lights that I can clearly seen in strong daylight. 5. Has plenty of power, I am 200 lbs and it takes 12deg hills very well. 6. Has 3 “speeds” meaning in speed 1 you can limit your top speed to 5mph in crowds or going down hill or learning to ride. Speed 2 limit to 10 mph, and speed 3 gives you up to max 15.6mph. It is handy. I now leave it in speed 3 because I have learned to control the accelerator from slow to max. The Speeds are not gears. 7. Good folding mechanism with small roller wheels to help you roll it along behind you.The cons: 1. The tail lights look cool, but each (2) need to be unscrewed once a week removed to be charged with a micro usb std 5V. 2. The main charging connector is physical a usb A , but takes a 42V in though a provided power supply, AC mains to 5”x2”x1”block to 42V usb Cable to scooter. Charges in about 5 hrs (the block gets hot). 3. Speedometer is only in Kph and no phone app connectivity. 4. “Be so kind to improvements to Documentation.” In other words several things were not explained well, like what the speeds are.Note to other reviewer who said accelerator got stuck; this is the cruise control feature that is handy you just need to be aware of how to turn it off, simply tough the accelerator or brake gently.

The scooter itself is nice. Looks good, feels good riding. There are two very concerning issues with this scooter, however:1) The throttle can stick. I took it for a test drive last night and on two different times it stuck and I manually had to force the throttle back to neutral.2) There's a speed limiter within the scooter that prevents it from going over 15 mph. This is understandable, but how it's implemented is on the dangerous side as it applies the brake. I don't need/want the scooter making braking decisions for me. Unexpected braking is very dangerous.If there are easy solutions to these issues I'll keep it and update, otherwise I'm sending it back.

Update I love this scooter great performance battery life style etc.... has made my commute to work so much easier and FASTER haha the battery indeed last very long I only have to charge it once every other day on my home , also its. Ot too heavy I like how the deck of the scooter is spacious and that the battery is located in the neck of the scooter, also the wheels and suspension are great the wheels are air less !!! 😋 so no flat tire worries ,, also the suspension is great I live in Compton and the streets and potholes are rough but this scooter holds up extremely well ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I'm glad I invested in this scooter has made my commuting life so much easier :) I highly recommend.Update: 1/9/2020I got a replacement scooter due to a faulty charging port the usb, insert but very fast and professional customer service response from Wendy, after several.short emails , they couldn't trouble shoot the issue so they sent me a replacement scooter without hesitation, I cannot recall the last time I've had great customer service like this before ^-^ tha k you Maceheel for being amazing to your customers.

I have researched different electric scooters due to my limited budget, I chose MX3 over the others due to many reasons. Got the MX3 in great protection packing and tried it today. Not disappointed. Buyers should note that I am giving it a 5 stars not because it is a perfect scooter, but a perfect budget scooter. So if you are looking for a perfect one, you will not be satisfied, If you are like me having a limited budget but still want a scooter to get around town, MX3 is a perfect choice among all competitors. Why? Here is my first use review:Major Pros:- Price. unbeatable if compare all features side by side with competition- Dual suspension : this is the only scooter I found within the same price range that features front and rear suspension. Ride is smooth- Acceleration is fine(I do not feel the hesitation as I do not accelerate abruptly)- 27 lbs. not too heavy to carry around(as I have to take public transport this one is important)- main board long enough to accommodate even bigger feet sizes- battery is still strong after testing, should be able to get up to 15 miles per charge, good for a connecting round tripMajor drawbacks:- both back lights have to be taken off by unscrewing every time they need a charge. trouble and not user friendly at all. If there is an opening at the bottom for easy access the charging ports, that will help a lot!- front straight vertical bar(where the batteries are) cannot be adjusted. As I am not tall, my arms and shoulders are tired after a 10 min trip- device seems to be capped at a maximum speed and if you keep pressing the accelerator at high speed(around 15 mph)it will jerk a little bitIf you are looking for a low cost electric scooter for daily connection between destinations and public transport, I would highly recommend the MX3. It fits my need perfectly. Yet if you are looking for other features like more powerful motor, dual ABS braking or longer battery range, you need to look elsewhere - and remember there is no free lunch. I only need a connection on going to work as I cannot walk several miles. Also, the most important, I do not have the budget to invest in a more expensive one with less features. This one just fit my everyday travel and budget need, perfectly.
