Mopar Wheel Touch Up Paint (PXY) Hyper Black 68414450AA​

The media could not be loaded. Got these for a badly scratched wheel and honestly it matches pretty good of course can’t get a smooth finish but from a distance you can’t tell as much.

I purchased this product to touch up some color on a set of Dodge Charger Hellcat rims that I repaired. The color on the rims is hard to match. I could not find it in a can or spray, so I opted for this pen instead. The color was not a perfect match, but very close. I was trying to cover a large area that had been sanded. The paint comes out of a pen as you would expect, somewhat spotty. It’s hard to cover an area larger than the tip. It is simple to use however. I basically “colored” with the pen to achieve the right results. It looks decent for what it is. I used it on 4 rims and there is still paint left in the pen. I did use the clear over my work as well. For what I paid I’m happy with my results. Cheaper than powder coating.

Its certainly darker, but the right color overall. I can only assume that is becase the wheels have been in the sunlight over the years and causing the paint color to fade a little. When I first applied it, it was much darker, but lightened up slightly. I will post pics once its funnly cured and I'll lightly wet sand it then apply clear coat. Its worth getting for minor touchups as its meant for, I never used the little sanding stick, but you'll want to use that to scuff up the alloy underneath.

I needed paint to touch up the hyperblack wheels on my Abarth. This stuff did it!

I have a 2021 Dodge Durango R/T Tow N Go that is factory equipment with 20X10 Hyper Black rims. These are the same rims that come equipped on the SRT392 Durango. The Hyper Black is more or less a dark silver. Dodge should have never named these rims Hyper Black. This does not even come close to matching the rims. The touch up paint is dark, like black dark.
