Excellent value for the money. Add some reflective tape.
I just got my first motorcycle and wanted a semi-armored hi-viz jacket since I live in an area known for elderly drivers and curvy hilly roads. For the money, I feel like this is an excellent value compared to the other options I found for $300+. I added some cheap iron-on reflective tape (Amazon for $8) and it’s excellent. The jacket from the factory is relatively hi-viz, but adding reflective tape makes it pop and reflect much better. I feel like someone would have to be completely blind to miss you with this set up. The fit is a little large, but the bottom does adjust via Velcro and tighten down to reduce airflow and drag. The interior liner is comfortable and does add some insulation, but riding in 40-50 degree weather was still uncomfortable, even with two layers under the jacket. The fit and finish are actually very nice for a $100 jacket, and the gun pocket is a nice feature. The material is thick and seems to be rugged enough for standard use, and the armor in the back and elbows seems okay until I can upgrade it to something better.Sizing is on the large side, but not by much. I’m short, 5’10, but have 46” shoulders and weigh 210-220. The XL is just a bit large on me but with the adjustable bottom straps and the sleeve straps, it’s completely usable.

Air flow and BRIGHT
It really do like it. Personally its not a below 60 degree jacket. Ive worn in 50s and its very brisk and also in 87 degree temps. It beaths well. In FL though its perfect for me. The mornings right now are cooler but by noon its comfortable with jacket. VERY BRIGHT! I would recomend changing the back pad out for the CE protector, if you have another Xelement jacket the back protecter will fit (they are same). This is my 2nd Xelement jacket.

Great value and nice product
My wife and I bought a matching pair of this jacket model. We are very pleased with this riding jacket. We do our riding in SE Asia and the mesh construction of the jacket allows for air circulation to the body while moving; a great benefit in a hot, humid climate. The jacket can get somewhat stuffy when stalled in heavy traffic on a hot day, but that is something we anticipated. When caught in rain, the jacket quickly dries; another benefit. It is easily washed in a tub of soapy water. Due to the durable construction of the jacket, I assume it will provide an extended service time. Most important, the neon green bright color makes us very visible to other drivers while on the road; a great safety benefit. My friends have stated they can see us coming from a "mile away" :-) The sizing is rather on the smaller side so I would suggest you either call the vendor with your torso measurements before ordering or order at least one size up. We had to return the first jackets we received and the vendor promptly replaced the jackets with a larger size, no problem. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and the vendor services.

Buy cheap - Get cheap
It’s inexpensive. Don’t expect it to be long on quality because it’s not. Mine fits me pretty well but it smells like a chemical factory and airing it out hasn’t helped at all. I got the Hi-Vis colors and it’s definitely Hi-Vis, something that I really wanted. It’s heavy, even with the liner out. It has armor but the pouches that supposedly hold shoulder armor in place are HUGE! The shoulder armor moves all over the place and mine ends up behind my shoulder, down by my armpit, not over it. I’ll try gluing the pad in place with shoe goo. Otherwise, I’ll have to remove it and I don’t want to do that. It comes with a big tag hanging on it, “Gun pockets” and there’s two of them, one on each side. What the heck? Only two? They could have made one of those pockets for a grenade launcher. I guess I’m just old school.

Not bad - not the best but not bad
I have another jacket from this same maker that I call my trans-season jacket. That's why I was willing to buy this same brand again. As far as the color is concerned, I'm very, very happy with it. It's only hitting in the lower 70s right now and it is ok but not a great cooler. I'm concerned about how well it will cool when it hits in the 90s and above. I have an older mesh jacket by another company that cools very well, but it's old and worn. Looking at it side-by-side with the new jacket, the mesh weave on the new jacket is tighter, thus accounting for the lower airflow. I was surprised that the size I ordered (4X) was actually a bit too big - not complaining - glad. Sizing is tricky - be patient - if you get a size that you don't feel comfortable with, then change it. All I know is, I'm keeping this - it's very highly visible and that's one of the key features I'm looking for. As to the cooling, it could be better. My only real wish is that they would put approved armor in the back and not just a pad.

Heavy-duty, Good Quality Jacket
I do recommend buying one size above your normal t-shirt size. I was surprised at the great quality of the material. It has some weight to it which tells me it's not cheaply put together, but it doesn't feel heavy when wearing it. It's very snug around the belly if you carry your weight-gain in the love-handle and belly area. I'm an XXL t-shirt size, and the 3XL size of this jacket fits me fine and snug. Would like to lose a few pounds so I have more room to fit a concealed firearm in the pocket.

Size is true fit per the chart, color= more neon green then balance of hiviz yellow and green
I realize the color part may have sounded odd, but my vision is alittle strange with those two colors. Regardless, this motorcycle jacket is a fairly close enough match to my scorpion exo t510 hi viz yellow helmet. 44 inch chest with 34 in waist and the XL is alittle big. I work out hitting the weights, but with 5 inch bicepts, the Large would have probably fit me like a glove. That's ok though since I'll be riding with this jacket with the rain-proof liner in it, and if needs be along sleeve shirt or light jacket, during the winter. Thus that leaves plenty of room to make this an outer winter jacket too to be hi viz in those conditions. Given I'm in the south, winter weather typical only lasts around 2 months at most with random fall weather throughout the normal winter months. Kudos to the seller for getting it to me earlier than anticipated.
