So far so good! This belt is much quieter than traditional ribbed belts in my experience. I had a pretty loud squeal using the alternative and it was instantly quieted with this one. Hopefully it stays that way.The one I bought was branded Goodyear... no big deal. Same belt.

Belt seems good. No noise
Replaced my factory belt on my 09 BMW 335i coupe as preventative maintenance while doing my alternator. Belt seems good. No noise.

Please make you don’t have any oils on pulleys or the belt itself; the belt slipped off and got shredded.

Original Post - For the past several years, I've been dealing with an annoying and very expensive belt squeak. The dealership replaced every pulley and tensioner, yet the squeak would eventually return. Just had this belt installed and instantly the noise stopped. I just hope it stays this way longer than the 3 months I got out of my OEM belt.Update - The new belt was on for little more than 3 weeks and the squeak/squeal came back and was worse than before. I now need to order another new OEM belt and throw this one away. I was hopeful after reading so many good reviews, but unfortunately, this belt did not solve my squeak problem.
