As advertised, there are more pictures of tigers in this book that I have never seen anywhere else than I could ever have dreamed. Great commentary to go with them. A must-have for fans of tiger tanks in World War II

Great book. Lots of great photos of the Tiger I. A good deal of photos of the King Tiger on the Western front. Severely lacking on the Eastern Front. The are photos from the series shot in Budapest but not all of them strangely. The ones there are clear, although some are clearer in the Squadron books. If you are especially interested in the Tiger I, this book will not dissapoint. Well worth the money.

Great book great pictures!!

This book is a great photoessay of the WW2 German Tiger 1 tank. I have never seen these photos elsewhere, and they are a fantastic resource for the modeller whom is looking for details, as well as anyone looking to gain a better visual insight into that portion of history. There is little text, only in the form of photo captions. This is a very enjoyable glimpse of the Tiger tank as it existed for a brief period on the stage of world history!

Truely a photo essay of Tigers that all AFV modeller's will find something to add to their projects. There are hundreds of beautifully taken photos that had never seen anywhere before. If you are looking for detailed written info about the Tiger tanks then this is not the book for you. All the photos have some short explanations beside them. A must have for the WWII collector and the modeller. Top quality book.

This is a picture essay more than anything else, but a very well done one. The photos are clear and most show very interesting operational situations. The ones of the crew of a King Tiger painting camouflage are great.There are some truly nice showing combat damage. The captions are clear and precise. For the military modeler like me is a good reference. Not a must, but a good buy. Recommended.

This is a "must have" book for every Tiger I fan. Makes a nice addition to your library. It doesn't have drawings (Doyle does those), but plenty of photos.

The Book is for Tiger geeks like me! and yes, like all the reviews have said many of the photos have been seen before and are available in many other publications. but I bought it anyway to add to my collection. I would recommend it to anyone who may not be familiar with both the tiger and king tiger. but there are plenty of other books out there with more detailed information rather than just a book containing photos which this book is, A Book of photo studies of Tigers at the front. a good book shame about the bad packaging.

Die Bücher von Thomas L. Jentz sind meistens eine echte Fundgrube und zählen zum Besten, was es über deutsche Panzer gibt. "Tigers at the Front" ist für mich aber eine Enttäuschung. Offenbar ging es nur darum, mit dem Dauer-Seller "Tiger" Geld zu machen, denn die Fotos in diesem Band sind schon in der dreibändigen Reihe "Germany's Tiger Tanks" von Jentz/Doyle und anderen Büchern enthalten. So bringt dieses Buch nichts Neues und man kann getrost auf den Kauf verzichten.

The pictures in this book aren't new to me, because I have already seen many of those on the internet. Beside the picture part, the literature part is boring and no detail discription of the battalions' combat. Overall, I don't recommend you this book.
