Wukong Neodymium Magnets - 380kg Pull Force Super Strong N52 for Magnetic Fishing and Rescue (90mm)

I'm not going to write a review, I'm going to tell you something that happened. We were magnet fishing off the riverbank (we have a boat, but we were going off the bank in this case) The riverbank had the corrugated steel reinforcing, yes, you know where this is going... Well, upon pulling up the magnet, BANG, it stuck to the steel on the riverbank. First I tried pulling by hand, nope. Then I tried wrenching it off with the boat hook, nope. No movement whatsoever. I tied it to the boat and gently reversed. It held the boat. I went to almost full throttle and it was still holding the boat in place, so I thought I'd take a run at it. I went forward a bit to slacken the rope, then slammed it into reverse. This did the trick. It came off with a mighty force, luckily it hit the water and sank though, if it had hit the boat I feel sure it would have put a hole in it and sunk us.

Purchased this after watching some videos surrounding the activity of Magnet fishing! My, oh my, what a great purchase! This kit is everything a beginner magnet fishing enthusiast could ever possibly need! The rope is made from good quality material, I adjusted the knot just incase and used a lighter on it to create a perfectly strong connection so that the magnet won't come loose! After usage I would recommend airing it out/drying it to ensure the lifespan of the rope, although it doesn't look like anything apart from physically damaging the rope will cause a problem, I love it!!!!!!!

I'm a 100kg and the magnet easily came away from the metal plate it was attached to. I think it could hold maybe half of its suggested 160kg if it's lucky. Having said that they, ( I bought 2) suit their purpose as anchors for a tarpaulin on the side of my van.

Let me tell you this.. that is one strong little magnet! I dropped my bike cain down a drain, so I purchased this to lower down to get it. The magnet is so strong that it instantly stuck to the actual drain grate, and I honestly couldn’t directly pull it off. I had to eventually slide it off before stating again to get it down through the gaps of the drain. It found and picked up my lock in seconds and all was well. The little unmentioned bonus of the magnet is it unscrews from its actual metal loop, to turn it into a nice flat powerful donut magnet. Awesome little magnet!!

Does the job perfectly well, very strong pull. Best used from bridges, boats etc., where you're above the water. Drawing it in from the bankside often turns it upside down, where it is least effective. If that is what you'll be doing, go for a lower diameter, or a double sided "pocket watch" type.

Our 8 year old discovered magnet fishing in TV so we decided to give it a go. This magnet is great for beginners. Really sturdy and a long rope. Ultra strong magnet as after just 20 mins use apart from a few nails and screws we managed to catch the side of the canal which was metal and could not get it back off until dad went the next day!
