Luhr JensenSuper Duper, 1-Ounce, Rainbow Trout

I'm a 76 year old man who has been using super dupers on trout since I was a kid. Often, it is the only thing I do use, instead of other lures or live bait. I have gone all day on Super Dupers, out-fishing just about every one else. I figure that if they aren't hitting Super Dupers, it is time to go home.I have found that the bronze colored ones work best, although this rainbow Super Duper ought to do well. I carry a selection of all sizes, not based on the size of the fish, but on how far I need to cast. Since I normally fish small ponds on creeks, I catch most of my fish on the smaller Super Dupers, which have successfully yielded 20-inch fat Rainbow and Tiger trout.When I was a kid, Super Dupers cost far more (in real dollars) than they do today. Since I worked after school for 15-25 cents per hour, I never owned more than one at a time, and would dive into the coldest mountain water to retrieve a snagged lure. Now, I feel fabulously rich to carry two or three of every size! Life is good!
