Lizza - Low Carb Classic Toast Squares - 94% Less Carbs - 16 Units - Gluten Free - Vegan - Protein & Fibre - Keto Bread - Diabetic Diet Friendly

So I have been on a low carb eating plan for 18 months. I’ve bought every product going and also all the ingredients to make my own (almond flour, psyllium husk, inulin etc) and all not great....either a house brick that tastes like sawdust or something that resembles sugar free cake. Bought these as love Warburtons thins so gave it a try. I ignored the negative reviews about taste and mould as wanted to see for myself and we all have different tastes. Absolutely horrendous, worse than anything I’ve tried before. I hate to say it as I’m all for innovation and really wanted it to be fab but it wasn’t. A bitter, odd taste and absolutely nothing that even resembles bread, couldn’t disguise it with a load of filing and didn’t toast well at all. I was absolutely gutted. All gone in the bin after trying one out of 16!!! I also bought the pizza bases but chucked them too as no point in trying them so that’s over £30 down the drain. I’m gutted as was hoping I’d found a new low carb option but sadly not.

Really good for those on keto diets.It’s more like a thick flatbread than proper bread but hey, it has very low net carbs

Slightly more edible than the bread mixes, but only as an absolute last resort if I can’t think of anything else to eat!!! Will continue to bake my own rolls

These taste fantastic- just like real bread, and I cannot recommend them highly enough...BUT, AFTER A FEW DAYS , 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE BEST BEFORE, THEY WERE COVERED IN GREEN MOLD !. I told Lizza, they did NOTHING - amazon themselves refund me, but I’m still out of pocket for the £10 postage. Please don’t buy these- they are VERY expensive, and although lovely, obviously do NOT keep. Mine were away from any heat in a cold larder- there was no reason for them to go mouldy, other than that they obviously don’t have the correct preservative. I’m disgusted at Lizza, at there utter lack of concern, and with their expensive, albeit nice product. NEVER AGAIN !! - SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SCHAR !!

Excellent alternative to bread. Does it taste like bread - No! If you dont compare it to bread it’s a great substitute. Perfect if you dont consume flour products & live keto lifestyle.I toasted mine & stuffed it with prawn mayo & avocado. Deeeeelish!
