Bridal Buddy– Wedding Gown Underskirt – As Seen on Shark Tank

This made my wedding day! We got eloped in the woods and this made it so I could still navigate and do everything I wanted to do! I honestly felt like I could run. This is incredible and highly recommend for outdoor weddings.

I wore this under my wedding dress, and it made it so much easier to go to the restroom without needing somebody to help me hold my dress up. And you could not tell it was under my dress at all it worked out perfectly.

The bridal buddy made my big day so much easier- I'm so thankful I purchased it last minute! My wedding was taking place in a park on top of a hill, which meant I needed to climb for 20 minutes. My main concern was tripping over my dress and getting it dirty before I even had my ceremony, so I ordered this item to help me keep it off the ground. My gown is roughly 4 layers of fabric, and just above floor length. Thankfully the Bridal Buddy was able to hold it all with no problems! I got the comfort band, which I would definitely recommend unless you plan on removing the Bridal Buddy once it's no longer needed. I'm 5'6, and it was a bit long for me, so I hoisted it up to just under my bust to keep it from poking out from under my dress. While in use climbing up the hill, I was covered in a large sheet because this hoists it well above your bum. Amazing for bathroom use, but a bit extreme for those of us using it for hiking!All in all I would definitely recommend! Just be sure to do a test run before your big day to make sure your dress fits.

This serves its purpose, but the material adds an excessive amount of heat that makes it unbearable under a heavy dress. It also doesn’t breathe at all, so it causes you to sweat a ton. I ended up taking it off before the ceremony even started.

The drawstring around your waist is elastic so unless you’re wearing a corset, it’s probably going to dig into your waist or not be able to support the weight of your skirts, one or the other. A thick fabric or elastic waistband with a drawstring would have been a better option, even if that meant that you would then have to introduce sizing rather than having a one size fits all garment.That being said, it mostly does work well. I wore it to manage my renaissance fest skirts and I think it works best if you’re able to sit on the toilet seat after gathering the skirts. It’s hard to manage around the big poof if you’re trying to squat over the seat, too. But it does keep the skirts up off the floor and out of questionable puddles while you do your business. Just take something along to sanitize the toilet seat before you sit on it, and you’ll be fine.The fabric itself is synthetic, so it’s going to be a bit warmer. It wasn’t terrible- it is thin, and I was wearing it in October- but I could see this thing getting hot in the summer. Maybe they need a summer version made of cotton gauze or something.

Going to be honest this contraption did not work as intended and was not as easy as described. People say they wore it during their entire reception but the drawstrings are a little dangerous and would be very easy to trip over. Yes it’s better than having a bunch of bridesmaids holding the dress up for you but it’s not worth the hassle and price in my opinion. Ended up taking longer to figure out how to use it so avoided using the bathroom after the first time because I almost tripped with it on as well so had to put it on when going to the restroom each time. Im sure there are cheaper options that work just as well.

I was a little hesitant to buy this but boy am I glad I did!! I had a very layered ball gown wedding dress and really appreciated having this to not only help me in the restroom but also to simply walk from the hotel to the car since it was raining all day and I didn't want the dress to get wet. I'm 5'10 and got the Medium Tall size, It was a little loose around my hips but it still worked great (plus with all my fabric already I hardly noticed it). I will definitely be gifting it to the next friend of mine who gets married and has an elaborate/heavy/floofy wedding dress!!

This product did not work out for me at all. The bottom of it is elastic and was kind of long so I kept tripping on it. When I used it to lift my dress up it did not work. I still needed to have two people help. It was also super hot so I ended up ripping it off as soon as I had a chance.
