Big Green Organic Food- Organic Fensi Vermicelli, Glueten-Free, Non-GMO, No additives, Vegan (1)

I used to always shop in Oriental supermarkets for items like Fensi, but since Covid changed my shopping habits, I've been missing some traditional Chinese dishes I loved. The other day I decided to give Amazon a try, and lo and behold, they do list a few brands of Fensi. After much fingernail chewing, I picked this brand, then held my breath till the product arrived. Not really expecting much, I cooked a dish with it. I was totally blown away with how great this product turned out to be. It has more body then the brands I used to use but is able to absorbed all the flavors added and remained firm throughout the cooking process! Now I'll be cooking all my favorite fensi dishes - Happy year of the Rabbit to all ! (myself in particular) LOL

My mom love this item!! She used it to cook stir-fried with ground pork (ants climbing a tree), which is my favorite dish of Chinese food. Apparently my mom said it tasted way better than other bean thread we have tried before. Also, I give a lot of credit to this organic product, all of my elder relatives love it too. Really recommended, will purchase again for next family gathering dinner!

Honestly the best vermicelli I tried since the texture is extremely chewy and the vermicelli does not break off. I am allergic to beans so I can't consume the regular vermicelli which is usually made of mung beans, so this is a great substitution since the only ingredient is pea starch!

This vermicelli is very similar to the glass noodles at my favorite Korean restaurant. Firm texture and no real flavor of their own to compete with what ever you are serving with / on them. An excellent gluten alternative especially since I prefer noodles over rice any day.

I think the price per pkg is a bit high, especially for the little you get, but what really made the 3 star rating is their packaging. I see other vermicelli style noodles in cardboard boxes, I don't understand why this is in 3 separate plastic bags, bags that are completely un-recyclable. Put them in recycled cardboard boxes and I'll change my rating. The taste is good, and I like that they're organic.

This vermicelli really tastes the best compared to other similar products you may find in oriental stores. I have used this products for quite a long time with several recipes, such as soups or hot pots. When you try it, you will see the difference! Thank you - Big Green!

the vermicelli does not break, really chewy texture. It is so much better than the one I got in Asian market.
