More than enough information, just make sure you do not race thru the information, this material should be reviewed slowly, so you can comprehend what is being covered. The book is 11 lbs, so I purchased the kindle version so I can easily carry it with me. Excellent

We are just now finished using this text book for our class in Basic EMT training. There is a great amount of detail, but this is required in order to know the subject. The chapters repeat information, but this is also necessary as it is very important to not forget the basic issues which are always primary for an EMT. Things such as Scene safety and the vital focus on maintaining a patients airway. It will prepare a student for the National Registry test as it addresses all the standards.

This book is needed for my EMT course...what I love about it most is that theres a scratcher inside..once you scratch it you go to their website, use the code and if you have an mp3 player, you can download the audio which reads each chapter word by word! It was very helpful in my EMT class. The workbook really helps you understand the material.

This is the standard book for all EMT students that plan on working in EMS. Great book and there are plenty of videos on youtube from instructors going over each chapter.I rented this book and got an access code! Professor did not require we use it (which I don't think is uncommon) but I was very eager to have a digital copy. For those who are renting there is a possibility that your book will have a fresh code, however, there is no guarantee that it will come with one.

This is a softcover textbook. It's really big, and becomes difficult to carry around, which luckily, my instructor said we didn't have to bring it to class. Detailed and organized. I do realize that they repeat things unnecessarily, but I guess that's a good thing. There are different sections and it's hard to cover everything in an organized manner. These topics overlap each other so I think this textbook did a good job in doing that.

We use this book for my EMT-B class. It's a relatively easy read, it's comprehensive (it covers all necessary topics), and if you get it new it comes with a scratch off code that can be used on the JBLearning website, and it has lots of interactive skills practice, tests, reviews, and it even has an audiobook for the book that you can listen to.
