SwifferSweep and Vac Floor Vacuum Starter Kit, 1 ct

Bought this Swiffer + Vac to replace the old one (5 years old) I gave my Daughter. She needed something light that did a good job (she had surgery). The new one I now have may be the same in that it looks the same, however, it is a little heavier, better made, quieter, and does outstanding job on my wood floors. I'll admit I'm a "clean freak" and I enjoy having a clean house. This new Swiffer makes my job easier and I love it! Keep up the good work! Wife of Jim!

I couldn’t be without this little vac. It fits almost everywhere. Under beds into corners I even use it on my new baseboards just turn it so cloths ride along the baseboards. Little filter easy to clean with toothbrush, picks up so well. Suction is strong enough to pick up crumbs, as well as lint,etc.

I have one and thought my mom could use this without a problem. She’s 89 and still try’s to do most of her housework. She loves it. Lightweight but gets the job done.

I have been using this vacuum for a long time. I bouight another one because the old one is dying. I have had it for several years.

This is so handy. It's light & easy to maneuver & a cinch to clean. It is great for picking up dog hair.

Have 2othrrsand after 5+ years the suction not as good

I use it for my tile floors. I love it because it works great. I had one before and the battery after 15 years gave out so I tracked down another one.

This is good for everyday light - med cleaning on hardwood / hard surface floor. The dusting paper can pick up hair and alot of other stuff while the vacuum can help pick up what the dusting paper cannot.....not 100% but you get the idea. To me, basically this is a 2 in 1 ( duster + light - med vacuum ). And the result is good. You still need to perform thorough cleaning with another heavier duty vacuum cleaner. So base on what the purpose of this product + what it actually can do, I give it a 5 stars. If you rate this base on being a full fledged vacuum cleaner, don't get this product and it's not fair to rate it like that. It's a duster, but a little bit more than a duster with some vacuuming actions. The only downside is that you can only replace the filter and cannot clean it (or get a new unit), my suggestion is that try to take out as much as dirt from the filter as you can or if you don't like to use your hand, wear a glove or use another dusting paper to pick out the dirt on the filter. You do need to do this other wise the vacuum won't have as much suctions as it should. You do need to do this also after every use, unless you literally used it for like 5 seconds.

We've been using the Swiffer vacuum for a number of years now, and we really like them. The fact that the weight of the unit sits on a swiffer pad makes it far more maneuverable than all the other types of stick vacuums that use wheels, and helps it to glide almost effortlessly across almost any type of non-carpeted floor: lino, hardwood, tile, laminate, etc. They're also incredibly cheap for what you're getting!The only drawback is that the suction isn't quite as powerful as we'd like it to be. We've written to the manufacturer asking if they'll consider building a more powerful model, and are just waiting to hear back from them.One suggestion I'd like to make: DON'T buy replacement filters if you can help it. They clean up very well and easily and last for years. We use our little shop vacuum to clean them out and just keep using them over and over and over again.

It's ridiculous the whole unit needs replacing when the battery won't hold a charge. Started noticing it going down in hold/run time around 6 months.Jan 2017 I paid 3 cents less than it's current price in 2020 but no improvements, it's the same exact model.Handle is flimsy. Broke within a couple of months.Button is in bad location on handle.Glad the filters were replaceable but without a new battery it's wasted $ as are my dry pads. I have two Persians I need the vac option.

Edit update: I did love my swiffer, however I don't think I've used it even 2 dozen times... kept cleaned up and charged when needed (after every vacuum actually, now it just refuses to charge :-( I'm heartbroken, I loved that ease of use... I know it's over a year old, but come on for the price of it i would expect it not to be so disposable :-( I'm going to miss her.Perfect for those quick chores you just want to get done. also for people like me that have dogs coming in and out of the back door. Quickly cleans and vacuums lose hair. Loved it so much I bought another one for my daughter's Christmas present--she loves hers too!!

This is fantastic for hard floors. The backup cloth catches most everything that the vacuum misses. My older one had much better suction than this new one but it’s not enough to turn me off. No more lugging out the heavy duty vacuum and no more broom. This does both. You won’t be disappointed. Just to let you know the catcher fills fast because it’s so small. It’s no big deal and if you do a quick vacuum every 2nd day it won’t fill as fast. It’s easy to empty and easy too clean. Putting the cloth on is simple and quick. I let mine get really dirty before I change it. Better than wasting one not completely full of dirt. I feel totally comfortable recommending this to you. Enjoy
