Quadruple the space on your 500GB Playstation 4
This hard drive is working perfectly in my PS4. I followed Sony's documentation on how to migrate from the 500GB hard drive in the PS4 to a new hard drive, and this one worked perfectly...So if you're looking to upgrade the space in your PS4, use this hard drive, because when you get done following the documentation, you'll have plenty of space to continue downloading more content on your PS4. :)I'd also like to note that I have been running this hard drive for several months now with no issues. I know that other reviews here say that it's been going bad after a month or so... I purchased this around Christmas 2016, and now it's April 8th. I know that hard drives that go bad, usually do when you first get them... So it's possible the others got a bad drive, but i personally have been pleasantly surprised.Hope this helps!

It works great. More storage on the PS4 without the hassle ...
I was originally going to put this on my PS3. That did not work out so I connected it to my PS4 and it functions perfectly as a backup. I had to put the hard drive into a usb hard drive box. I plugged it into the PS4 which immediately recognized the hard drive and formatted it. It works great .More storage on the PS4 without the hassle of reformatting a bigger internal drive for the PS4. Win win for me.

Great high volume PS4 replacement
Upgrade for my PS4, took roughly 2 days to do the whole process but it worked great and has been for the past few months. No performance benefits if your looking for that get an SSD.

2TB Samsung 5400 RPM drive. Arrived pretty much as expected except for a bent pin at the connector. I straightened the pin and installed the unit into my PS4 and it works perfectly.

It work as well as expected. Simple to install and after installing all my games (close to 20) I still have 700+ GB of free HD space.

purchased for my PS4, it works, fits and installed easy. i wasnt concerned though. did recieve it 1 day late, when it said it was expected the day before.

Has not burst into flames yet
Got this for my PS4. The HDD did not give me any issues with installation, and it has been working for a few months now.
