From a commited reader of Thomas Mann
It will be of interest to note that this H T Lowe-Porter translation contains largely the contents of her TM Stories of Three Decades (1946). The omission is Felix Krull (the 1912 fragment): the additions are The Transposed Heads (1940); The Tables of the Law (1944) & The Black Swan (1953).There is also a useful introduction by Daniel Johnson; a Select Bibliography & Thomas Mann Chronology, in the typical Everyman's Library formatIn all it is a useful addition for readers in possession of the complete Felix Krull (1954).This hardback edition of 870 pages is a joy to hold and read.

Nice collection, not actually complete
Nice collection, not actually complete. Mann is unnecessarily ponderous and pompous, but at their best the short stories emit a sombre and sinister glow.

Good quality
Good quality with bookmarker and the other hallmarks of a Everyman's Library title. Only qualm is the spine design is from the previous generation rather than the current series.
