Well worth the investment
The Dometic refrigerator in my 1996 Country Coach motor home would work on propane, but not on AC. Installed this motherboard and ... poof ... the AC worked immediately and is still working. Excellent product!

Fridge is fixed
I was nervous to spend extra money trying to fix my old RV fridge. But the symptoms matched what this said it could fix so I took a chance and all I can say is the fridge works! Thanks for a great product. Used the fridge all summer. Very happy. Even fixed it while at the lake. Super easy install.

Great replacement over stock failing boards.
My 2000 Dometic New Dimension RV fridge was having an issue where, when started, it would cool to around 40 degrees in the fridge. But then either reset or went into a defrost mode and would take 24 hours to get back to around 40 degrees again. During the day it would get up to the high 50's or 60's. Did not matter if it was on electric or propane. After installing the Dinosaur board, it works great. I set the board dial to 4 and set eyebrow setting to 4 as well. Both can be turned up to 5 . In florida temps, high 80 and 90's it cools to around 33 in fridge and 6 in freezer. I did not install any additional outside fans as everyone recommends. I wanted to see the results of the board change alone. I have the internal fan light combo that attaches to the fins, I got on amazon, but have had it in there for months. Took about 20 minutes to pull old board and install the new one. Happy with my results. Edit...had a cooler day yesterday, in the mid 70"s and high 60"s overnight. Temps dropped to 24 in fridge and 1 in freezer.

Got my refridgerator working better under propane but there's still something else wrong!
This might just be the best purchase I've ever made on Amazon or anywhere, my two way Dometic RV refrigerator was working fine on electricity when plugged in but when it wasn't hooked up to electricity it was working sporadically under propane and I was constantly having to reset the buttons and sometimes it would start to work again but other times it wouldn't and dry camping during the day in the morning I would reset the refrigerator and it would work during the day with the sun charging the batteries using a smaller solar system but it would quit under propane at night time which was really strange obviously and over time it was continually quitting sooner and sooner to the point where it wasn't working at all under propane anymore and I really didn't know how to fix the problem because I'm not an RV refrigerator technician at all but I cleaned out the back area blowing it with air hoping that would work maybe cleaning out some soot or dust which is what some people say has been their problem but it didn't really work for me but when I opened up the old board I found that yellow jackets or something made mud houses literally on my old board which I already thought might have been the problem and needed replacement so that somewhat confirmed that I needed to replace my old board and who knows how long or how old that board was because I'm not the original owner of my trailer and I did try to clean up as much of that mud as I could without damaging anything but it didn't help to get my old board working again because it was still doing the same thing but I did order another board that people here on Amazon said would work but it didn't work for me so I sent it back but they said my Dometic refrigerator model number RM 2652 would work with the other board but the other board was for newer refrigerator's I believe with different product numbers supposedly and that other board actually had 1 less connection on the bottom so I contacted Dometic and they recommended one of their other Dometic boards but that board was actually more expensive than this dinosaur board here on Amazon plus it didn't even look the same size at all because it appeared to be the same width but much shorter from top to bottom which concerned me because I didn't really want to buy a second board that wasn't correct again even though that board might have worked also possibly and some people said this board would work for me as well so I decided between that board and this one so I ordered this one instead plus this board has the temperature control which everyone seems to love because my refrigerator during the summer doesn't seem to get cold enough in this scorching California Heat where I live so the temperature control was definitely probably the biggest deciding factor for choosing this board over the other Dometic replacement as long as this board actually worked obviously so I figured why not try this dinosaur board instead since it was cheaper also, has the temperature control, appeared to be the same exact size as my old board, has a lot more and got much better reviews than the Dometic board with people claiming Dometic didn't offer them good customer service either and everyone said that this board has good instructions and listed the connections well also so I ordered this board hoping I could fix my refrigerator problem myself without having to pay an expensive repairman and the instructions seemed to be great along with the board itself listing what each connection is on the board so that's pretty awesome even though I don't really know what each wire does or where each wire comes from on the back of my refrigerator honestly but I just looked at the paperwork that came with this dinosaur board and I literally plugged in my old connections literally in the exact same order that they were on my old board on this new dinosaur board from left to right excluding the very first connection on the bottom left that you only use with a 3-way refrigerator because mine is only a 2-way and I didn't need to use the extra fuse that came with this board either that's only meant for a 3-way refrigerator but this board has 1 extra connection besides that 3-way connection which is on the 2nd to the right connection on the bottom that says it's a ground so I literally just skipped over that connection but I connected all the other connections literally in the same exact order that my old board was in on this board and I hooked up the other ground wire that this board has that my old board didn't to a screw just outside the area where this board goes and the top connections were exactly the same and I was just basically hoping and praying that everything would be okay and that this board would fix my problem and after I plugged it back in on the back and turned my refrigerator back on it did come back with the check light twice but on the third time after I reset the buttons again the check light never came back on and so far so good after 24 + hours later already my refrigerator has been working consistently and it's almost too good to be true because I honestly thought I was going to have to hire an expensive repairman because some people told me that it could be a dirty connection or an electrode or my igniter or the thermocouple or whatever but so far this dinosaur board appears to have fixed my problem and got my refrigerator working again on propane and I haven't used it yet under electricity but I'm assuming and hoping it will work on electricity also because my other board did work under electricity but it was only working under electricity at the end and not under propane anymore but so far so good now and as we get closer to the springtime I might put the temperature control from 3 to 4 and then maybe in the summer I might move it to 5 if needed on the temperature control on this dinosaur board but I haven't altered that yet because it's the winter time right now and fairly cold close to the new year so I left that dial on 3 as of now but so far this dinosaur board appeared to have fixed my problem so I'm extremely happy with this purchase and the instructions as well as the actual listings on the board itself literally couldn't be any better.UPDATE:About 36 later after it was working consistently the check light came back on again sadly and I reset the refrigerator buttons a few times and it did start working again it appears after a few manual button resets so what this tells me is that there's something else wrong besides just replacing this board but this board seems to be working better than my old one which is good of course but it doesn't appear at all that my problems are over with because working great for about 1 1/2 days is good but your refrigerator needs to work consistently for much longer than that for it to really be functioning properly and consistently to keep your food cold obviously and you shouldn't have to constantly monitor it and look to see if the check light is on all the time or not because your refrigerator should be working consistently without having to worry about that so I'm just going to have to try to figure out what else could be the problem now in addition to replacing this control module board, I had a feeling it was too good to be true honestly that just by replacing this board it would automatically fix all my problems but I was hoping that was the case even though it appears now that just replacing this board is just the beginning of my problems with my RV refrigerator.2nd UPDATE:Every day or two my refrigerator will quit and the check light will come on so as soon as I see that I reset the buttons and after one or two resets it appears to start working again so using this new power module board my refrigerator is working better than it was with the old one that was most likely the original that was possibly about 20 years old but it's not working consistently like it should really so I think I might need to try to replace the thermocouple next or the electrode or the reigniter or something because I have to constantly watch the lights and whenever the check light comes on I reset the buttons and so far it seems to start back up again but it is kind of irritating and I'm afraid it might not start back working again but so far I have to do this every day or two but before I replaced my old board with this new one it quit working completely under propane so replacing the board definitely helped a lot but there's still something else that needs to be replaced that I have yet to figure out.3rd UPDATE:After using this new dinosaur board for a much longer period of time now it seems to work even better and it hardly ever quits on me now with the check light coming on which is strange because why would it start to work better over time compared to when I first installed it? I don't know but that's a good thing obviously but I still don't have the 2nd ground wire attached even though they claim that's necessary so I might look into that by calling them and asking how to install that 2nd ground wire and I do like the temperature control but even on 5 during the super hot Summers here in California it does help having the temperature dial but it still doesn't work that great when it's over like 100 degrees even with the dial turned all the way up but I think it helps to keep the refrigerator a little bit cooler compared to other modules that don't have that temperature dial but it's not really as cold at all as it should be so your food won't spoil and stuff in your freezer don't really freeze good either when it's really hot but I don't really think anything would really fix this problem completely anyways though sadly because I don't think these 2-way refrigerators on trailers are really meant for super hot weather just like they're not meant for super hot or super cold weather regarding the insulation in the walls either but I'm fairly happy with this board still and I would definitely recommend it even though I don't really know why it works better now compared to before and I don't have the 2nd ground wire attached like they claim is needed.

Works properly, easy install.
Dometic refrigerator, dometic sent me the wrong controller. An updated Dometic controller was available, all I had to do was some rewiring, wire loom replacement etc. Dinosaur was an exact fit, well marked terminals, even a potentiometer to adjust refrigerator temperature. Bonus feature, it works. Excellent phone service. Thanks Dinosaur.

Great Product!
Very easy to install as the plugs were all clearly marked and matched the Dometic board in my 2652 fridge. At first, I didn't want to mess with changing the board myself, so many wires, I felt overwhelmed. I was ready to pay someone else good money to do it for me. But I was able to change this board my self with no problems what so ever. And, this board fixed the problems I was having with my fridge. Isn't that what it all about?Great product.Update > 1 year later:After 15 months of hassle free fridge, it wouldn't come on under electric power. It ran fine on LP, but not on 110v. I was ready to blame the board and buy another one when I remembered that there was a small fuse on the board itself. Changed that today and all is well. Posted just as a reminder to anyone that if you have the problem I encountered, check that fuse before shelling out for a new board. Still a great board at a great price!

Dinosaurs Board
Worked great, Dinosaurs website looking under my model Fridge.Showed exact location for wires to plug into. From old placement to the new placement.Even has small temp control.Look up your fridge, stall it and put the connectors it in. [ Uses 2 grounds now ]Takes a day for it to get up and working if just running on A/C. Be patient!
