I bought this to try to train my cats to utilise their scratch post more often as opposed to my nice, new furniture. This product works on both cats as they don’t like getting their paws on the stickiness. It’s literally like a huge sheet of double sided tape which you stick on one side to the furniture and leave the other side up. My rebellious cat was the first to experience the effects of this and because he’s a big baby, I think it ‘traumatized’ him a bit. He scooted over to me to sit on my lap. I’ve had the same sheet on for about a month now and it still has the stickiness to it, which the cats hate. I’m not someone whom would ever de-claw my cats as the procedure is inhumane - it’s the equivalent of an amputation, and the cat will often develop problems down the road such as arthritis etc. There’s no safe way of doing it - laser removal isn’t much better (my sister is a vet), so this is a great solution. I will completely remove them with time. I think it was helpful to use these from the start and not try to train the cat 6 months after they’ve been scratching the new furniture. I have found it helpful to put a scratch post in my bedroom as well as the living room so they have a go to! But yes, these sheets combined with tape roll versions of it will work wonders! You can cut the sheets to size, if necessary and they come off fine from beds / sofas etc. I haven’t used it on my leather couch, but they don’t try to scratch that! It’s mostly the cloth furniture. Anyway, I love this product and the only reason I gave ‘stretch’ a one star is because I don’t know what they’re looking for, for that. It’s like a double sided tape, so doesn’t stretch and isn’t designed to! The photo included shows some of it on my new headboard, a month later and the cats have stayed away since their first experience with it!

This serves part of its purpose. It seems that when I put this on my couch the cat decided to scratch elsewhere...but still on the couch. He's honestly just a jerk. However the tape worked well. My it complaints are that it pulls a bit of fibers off my couch when I remove or replace it, and that I once walked by my couch and accidentally waxed my leg. Pro or con, only you can decide on that one. I will probably buy it again once I run out.

I wasn't sure about this product when I ordered it but I was tired of yelling at the cat for scratching the couch so I figured we'd give it a try. So far...it's working!! He is VERY unhappy with the sticky feel and hasn't scratched the couch at all since we put it on. I love that there are multiple sheets and that you can cut them to fit the area you need to cover....I had several small spots on the back and arm of the couch and I was able to cut the pieces to fit those places and don't have to waste the whole sheet. Overall, pretty satisfied so far!!

One of our cats had an issue of trying to scratch the corner of our new couch. Once I put this on it, the first time he tried to scratch it he hated it. Only tried once or twice after, then has left it alone since. Sticks on very well. We ended up taking it off a few months later because one of our new cats had a fascination with licking it...even with it off they don't scratch it anymore

My cat was jumping up on my counter, knocking my keurig lid off and drinking the water out of it. He was also climbing in My kitchen window and knocking stuff off while I was gone. I wanted to find something to keep him off of the counters. So I did research and heard of double sided sticky tape. Found this and thought I’d give it a try. It does work. My cat jumped on the counter once when I put this on and has stayed off since. I would give it 5 stars but it did leave a sticky residue on my counters and know I have to figure out how to get it off. It is very sticky. But I’m glad I got it because now he isn’t jumping on any of the counters I have put the tape on.

I will be using these two sided "tape" sheets for craft projects. It is very sticky, and reading the description I felt I could use it on several different things to discourage my two cats from scratching. I tried it on a wood bookcase and two chairs. The cats didn't even notice it was there, but pulling it back off was very difficult. And yes, I had it positioned correctly. It just is not something I would recommend and I regret the purchase.

I thought it was just a gimmick. I got it since it was cheap alternative to other remedies. Well I put it on and low and behold my cat stopped scratching my expensive leather sofa and chair. Its basically a very thin double stick tape. After a while you're supposed to remove it and the cats shouldn't scratch that area. I still have it on since it is clear and very hard to notice.

What I like is that the tape is easy to use and there’s plenty of it. Simple. No need to have pre-cut sheets or lengths from similar products. Other things, like blankets and pillows, touch the tape accidentally and over a period of time the tape isn’t as sticky because of that, but since it’s easy to use and there’s plenty of it, you just replace it. Why can’t all products be so straightforward. Our two cats have learned not to scratch our upholstered footboard. Yay.

C'est littéralement du gros scotch double face... Donc en plus de rendre l'objet collant, ce qui peut être chiant, ça colle poussières et poils de chats. Les mecs sont tombé sur du scotch double face et se sont dit "tiens si on disait que c'était contre les griffures de chats !", c'est complètement con.

This is a great product, the sheets are extra large and stick to furniture well.. it has stopped one cat and a baby from roughing up our sofas.. however my other cat is way too smart, she keeps finding a part of the sofa that is uncovered to tear to shreds (brat!).. highly recommend this product. However if you have a brilliant kitty, I would also purchase a pair of nail clippers too!

It came with more sheets than I ever would need! Just one was enough to deter the cat from scratching on the couch and table legs. They really are big sheets and it was only a corner of the couch that needed protecting. Excellent purchase, just not sure now what I’ll do with all these extra sheets of adhesive paper.Edit: Changed my review from 5 stars to only 1 star because the plastic would not peel off the couch without damaging it and leaving behind all the glue. The entire area was sticky with its glue, even after using glue-gone on that its still sticky. Very disappointing that it damaged the material, but the glue being left behind was especially annoying. What a mess. Those extra sheets of paper are going straight into the garbage.

I wasn’t sure that these would work to deter my very determined cats. I previously tried sprays and other training methods without results but since I put these tape pads on they completely avoid the couch altogether. Product is quite transparent so they are not very noticeable either which is nice. Very happy

Finally something that worked against my cat. I tried EVERYTHING. Even placing its scratcher near the couch. Nothing worked until now. I am VERY IMPRESSED!!!! Recommend in a 100%
