Sadaf Tabouli Mix 9 oz. ( Pack of 3 )

In the past I used the Fantastic brand of Tabouli but it’s no longer carried in my store so I’ve been searching for a good mix to use as a base for tabouli. The other popular brand has molasses in the mix which we don’t like. After checking out the ingredients in this mix I thought it was a good candidate to try. Unfortunately, after making my first batch we decided that something is “off.” It had a strong taste like pepper but that could be the garlic which the other mix didn’t have. I used the 1/4 cup of lemon juice recommended but we found it way too much. I even added more bulgur and some other ingredients In an attempt to dilute the spices and lemon but it didn’t help much. After we finish the other 2 boxes I’ll just make the Tabouli from scratch so I have full control over the results. Disappointed that this didn’t work out as hoped.

I was surprised when I opened this mix to see the sheer volume of greenery inside, but I love mint and parsley so made the first of the three packs anyway. Awful, disgusting, bitter, nasty stuff. I've never seen a tabouli mix that is 40% dried herbs before. I figured there must have been a factory error so I opened pack two (see photos) and it's identical. Save your money; this stuff is terrible. And--of course--it's not eligible for return. BOO HISS!

Was looking for an old favorite but it was out of stock, so bought this instead. It is excellent, good value for money, great taste and very versatile for many Mediterranean style foods. Will re-purchase.posted many months later - I keep coming back for this product. love it.

We ordered 3 tabouli (tabbouleh) packages and they looked great coming out of the shipping box. Would recommend John's Market again.

I enjoy this brand as it has more flavor and spiciness than other brands I have tried. Makes a lot and keeps well for a few days. I like to add chopped apples as well - adds a nice texture.

I haven’t been able to find the tabouli mix I have used for years, so I tried these. Really like the flavor- lots of parsley. But don’t follow the instructions, as 1/4 c. of lemon juice was too much.

The exp date was up when I receive these and I think it had mold in it. Made me sick and I love tabouli.

Very disappointed in flavor...not good & very spicy hot. Gave some to Lebanese man to try & he said it was terrible. Too bad I can't return it. Do not reccomend.
