Underwater Garden Motion Lamp

I was a bit disappointed from what was shipped to me. It was not the same model from the picture shown. The model shipped to me was very different in color as well as the type of fish. I do not recall the description saying that it would differ from the actual picture but if so, they really should give the customer an option to choose which model or at least only show which model was available for shipment, this way the customer will know what to expect when the item comes in. It's very disappointing when the customer doesn't get what they paid for. It's bad business when you deceive customers.

I purchased this lamp to replace one I purchased nearly 4 years ago. I saw it was made by Image Masters, so I assumed it was the same lamp. My original (purchased at our local Children's Hospital Gift Shop) was well made and gave off a nice warm blue glow. This lamp has a cold white glow and heats up very quickly. I never worried about the original lamp, but this one I worried about it being on longer than 2 hours, it got so hot. As stated in the advertisement, the box may differ from one product to another....this should have been my first red flag. Mainly, my original lamp was well made, had a nice blue glow & lasted nearly 4 years of 4 hrs/night. This lamp felt cheaply made, gave a harsh white glow, didn't last 6 months & got extremely hot very quickly. I do not recommend purchasing this item...nor would I trust purchasing from the company either.

This was a gift for someone else. We saw it at a beach house, and it was so much fun and very relaxing. It definitely has a bit of a toy vibe to it, obviously not a real aquarium or realistic representation, BUT it casts a nice glow and is relaxing to watch. I took off one star because the light seems to heat up quite a bit. I would not leave it on overnight in a kid's room.

Not as big as I thought, but my misjudgment probably from looking at the pic. Otherwise, great! My son loves to have it on at night :)

My grandson received this for his birthday, and he was very excited about it. The instructions, however, state explicitly that it cannot be left on for more than 8 hours. Since most children sleep 9-10 hours, the product cannot be used what it is designed for. Worse than that, when we went to put it up on the shelf we jarred it JUST A LITTLE and the light loosened from the base. The instructions state very explicitly that if there is a problem with the light it must be THROWN AWAY and cannot be repaired. My husband looked it over and sure enough...it cannot be fixed. So sad, and such a waste of $20 + shipping for the gift giver.
