Indian Om Mantra Hand Block Printed Scarf Prayer Shawl (pink)

This was the 2nd purchase that I made from this company. The shawl arrived on time as stated and looks exactly like the image. However the description for the shawl states that it is lightweight cotton with handmade cotton block printing. I received a shawl that looks just like this but it is 100% RAYON. The previous scarf that I order however is 100% cotton which is why I ordered the second. I don't dislike it but I ordered cotton and that is what I expected especially after ordering the first one and receiving a 100% cotton shawl. I don't care for synthetic fabric and I consider this false advertising.

Stunk like strong pesticide, had to wash it right away with Tide & soaked in fabric softener. Color ran like crazy too. Hanging outside in the sun & fresh air now. Time will tell.Update: Washed & dried in the hot sun. Found a long thread pull/snag & I haven't even worn it yet. Material is thin like cheese cloth or gauze. Now it smells like a wet dog after medicated dog shampoo/flea collar. This scarf just might end up as a rag in my car trunk. NOT worth the money.

Bought this about 5 years ago and always loved it and got great compliments on it as well. After 5 years it was a bit worn and time for a new one! Love this maybe a bit more than the previous one! Nice craftsmanship and a wonderful shawl!

Cute gift for my Indian friend

I love this sheer and lovely scarf. But be careful, the fabric is a very loose weave and is fragile because of this. My item got snagged very severely minutes after opening it, and in an attempt to spread it back out, there is now a big patch of noticeably rippled threads. Whoops.

The shawl is nice. It's thin and feels delicate and is a lovely orange. It is not made of cotton. It is 100% rayon hence the 3 star rating.

Not as dark in colour as the picture indicates. More orange than brown but still a very nice scarf

Very thin and not as big as looked in picture. Disappointed for price
