Even helps with small Yorkies!
This was an excellent tool to train my little guy for his CGC certification! He has trachea collapse so we had to be careful with how we handled neck pressure, and before we did the trick of looping a slip lead around his nose to prevent the pressure from coming at his throat. Well, he hated it, and we had pretty poor results with that. My trainer recommended one of those or a mini prong collar to help him keep from pulling on a leash and choking himself, and it would leave his face alone. This was PERFECT and worked wonders!! My little dude did so well after we switched and he passed his test thanks to this thing!

Good collar for puppies, until ready for regular prong collar
These are for mild-mannered dogs. Works great for puppies or dogs that are too sensitive for a regular prong collar.Otherwise, for most dogs, a regular 2.25 Herm Sprenger collar is more effective.I use my own back-up collars I get from Pawmark, as the ones that come with this collar are too small. I use this “small” size on all size dogs.Takes a little practice to add & subtract links, but once you got it it’s easy. This collar is inexpensive and may not last forever, but easy to replace. Some dogs with very thin hair on neck, or thin skin, may get some minor skin irritation from the plastic points. Mine didn’t have that issue. The collar should be fitted SNUG, up high on the neck, to where you can only fit a few fingers under it. If it’s too loose it won’t work right.

Great correction collar
Our trainer recommended this collar for our smaller dogs. We are training our new adult corgi how to heel and walk on a loose leash. We usually use the sprenger prong collar for our larger dogs but wanted to try something a little different for our small corgi. This works really well:) it’s easy to adjust if you are familiar with a prong collar style already. If you’re not familiar it’s pretty easy to learn with repetition.

Answer to ALL our training issues
I have struggled for over a year trying to get my 17 lb cockapoo (15 months) not to lunge on walks when we pass rabbits, birds, cars and other dogs. Barking accompanied the lunging. In less than 2 days, it has all stopped using this collar. I had tried every no pull harness, martingale collars, trainers. For me, this has been no less than a miracle! I was at a point that walking the dog was the low point of my day. Now we are the best behaved dog in the neighborhood. I have also used it in the house to control begging for food when we have dinner and jumping on people when they enter the house. Thank you Starmark!

Great replacement for Sullivan collar
I bought this for my Airedale puppy after I "lost" the D Sullivan Command Collar I had bought for my last Airedale (I'll probably find the original tomorrow!). This seems to be a good replacement and comes with a safety collar in the event that the plastic links somehow come undone. I actually like the link points on this one better than the original C/C as they're not quite as pointy. The length of the collar is 18" with all included links and each is 1.25" in length. I removed two links and the collar fits my little boy perfectly. As with the original, these work to emulate the momma dog's "snake bite" as a correction to the little ones. Net-net: Great replacement for the original C/C and appears to be a better quality than the blue C/C knock-offs I've read about on Amazon.

Breaks without the cloth choker on with it
This was the better of training collars for my medium sized female lab but she got used the pulling again after a week and she ended up breaking after a few months when she pulled real hard to try and play with another dog…hints why they give the other cloth choker with it… let’s put it this way 🤔 I would use this again if I had one but not spending money on a 3rd one🤷🏼♂️. Good alternative to a metal choker chain 👍 but my dog is even breaking chain chokers without spikes at a year old now and ordered the one with metal spikes for her not to pull so hard unfortunately… if they honored a break we replace policy I would still prefer this company of all others but I’m out the money from 3 of these collars in a year lol. 13 dogs in my life and this was hardest to train but glad I had these collars over the shock collars I have wasted money on for sure!! I would rate this collar 5 out of 10 only because they don’t replace when broken

Works
It provides good control over my dog on her lead; she doesn’t pull and it doesn’t seem to cause her any significant discomfort. I much prefer it over the classic metal chain control collar.
