Wore my first pair during a long ski school session and they were very comfortable. They seem comparable to much more expensive branded socks, although you should look elsewhere if you want really thick socks. Very pleased with them and the reasonable cotton content helps with comfort and softness. I have no idea how long they'd last but to be honest, I wouldn't mind if I only used them a few times. Postscript, used them on a short skiing trip and they were very comfortable. My feet were never cold, obviously as much to do with the boots.
