I've used Sager/Clevo for a long time before switching to the big brands (MSI, Asus, Lenovo). The biggest mistake I've ever made. After not having the best experience with the big brands I decided to switch back to Clevo and was not disappointed. This is a well-built laptop and for the price, I get a whole lot more performance than similar big brands models. I've had this laptop for about 4 days now and the only complaint so far is that I wish they had redirected the airflow to the back of the laptop instead of to the right side. The right side is where I have my mouse and the hot air coming from the fan gets my hand sweaty after some gaming time.

This Gaming Laptop is simply amazing. It runs just about anything on max settings. I searched a long time for a gaming laptop and this one had the best specs for the price (laptops with the same specs: Intel Core i7-8750H, 32GB DDR4, GTX 1060, 500GB SSD, 1TB HDD, etc., they cost much more than $2000).This thing is exactly what I wanted and is the best laptop I've ever used. The computer runs fast, quiet, and very smooth.I am a casual gamer and my job demands intensive work in software development and graphic design, and this thing runs everything! There is no game or application that this thing cant run.Its recommend a Laptop Cooling Pad because this laptop will get pretty darn hot during extensive gaming (I bought this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079FXK7FP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a powerful Gaming Laptop for a very competitive price.

It performs very well, very happy. This new version of Windows 10 leaves out the all apps option in the start menu. So you can’t scroll through all your programs. You have to choose a letter that your app starts with. Not the notebooks fault. 4 cell battery not much for a gaming pc but it is mentioned in the description. Would be nice to have an 8 cell though. Value for the money very good. Only had one day but very satisfied so far. Where would we find replacement battery?

I've had this laptop for a week now, I will update this review if any issues come up in the future. So far it has been excellent playing all my games (modded Skyrim, Divinity 2, League of Legends, Dragon Age) at the highest setting without any performance issues. Granted these are older games, but even with ultra modded Skyrim, the laptop is able to run without getting overtly hot or dropping fps. Since I use the laptop for both work and gaming, the design is attractive for me because it's not your obvious Gamer laptop, which ends up looking distasteful in a work environment. As an added note, I found Pro-star costumer service to be excellent. I had an issue come up during delivery and they were able to help me promptly. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this computer, as I mentioned if major issues surface in the future I will update this review.

Best cost to performance I could find, would recommend getting a cooling pad. Would recommend.Positives:+ VR-ready, can handle max settings on most games in my experience with about 80 FPS+ Lots of storage for a laptop, both SSD and HDD+ Extensive gaming and typing is fairly comfortable+ Good batteryNegatives:- Webcam: I don't know if it's all stock webcams in laptops but it's pretty bad.- Heat: It produces a lot of heat but with a cooling pad this isn't a problem and the CPU getting up to around 75-85°C when playing graphically intensive games is normal.

I looked high and low before buying this laptop and it hard to find anything that will match these specs for a better price. As a student one of my main concerns was finding a machine that I can use in a lecture hall without the constant whirring of loud fans. After a bit of testing this does have the same issues as any other machine built for gaming, the fans are audible with just normal use but just setting it to quiet mode left it all but silent and heat hasn't been a problem yet. The battery life is reasonable. The only thing this laptop doesn't have that other similar machines do is the case design is rather basic but if you're looking for something that might be able to pass in a professional environment that can be a plus too.
