We have had a lot of issues with our septic system this last year, our service company gave us two of these capsules to get started a couple of months ago after a bad back-up. The cause was finally determined by them to be too much organic matter and we had been suffering with the foul odor associated, I was kinda amazed that after only two or three days after flushing one of these the odor just disappeared. We had been using another product but apparently it wasn't working. No problems so far with this product.The packaging is small and easy to store, the capsules don't smell like the last product, they are marked with the name of the month which is nice for tracking if you forgot. I like that you don't have to dosify, just drop it in the commode and flush, no mess, no hassle, most importantly no more poop smell!!

I have been using this product for about 3 years now, as this was the 1st septic system we have ever had. Family of 4, we just drop a pill in once a month and forget about it. We started having a sewer odor in the 1st month of living here, and wanted to try something, so purchased this product. After our 2nd year of being here, I had a professional pumping company come out to check our tank to see if anything needed pumped. They tested the system and said we only had about 1.5in of sediment in the bottom. Needless to say, I will be a lifetime customer of this product.

I placed this in my toilet as instructed and it did not disolve. After an hour waiting to see what reaction would be happening in my septic I was sorely disappointed. I ended up teaching in with gloves and opened the capsule by hand and the flakes just sat there. I even threw a sheet of toilet paper in the bowl and still no reaction after another hour. Highly ineffective. If it looks to good to be true it usually is. We started having leakage from our toilet after use. I am going to have to pay to have a company come pump our system. Do not use this product.

I do not regret buying this septic tank cleaner, it works for me. I only have to be careful taking it out from its packaging. The capsules slide out easily but this is alright. I think this happens only to the one I received. Thumbs up.

A plumber recommended this product and I am so glad I listened to him. We had an odor coming from our toilet and I used one capsule as soon as I received my order and the odor is gone. The package comes with 12 capsules and ready to flush. It was easy to use! I will use these capsules monthly and I will update my review after a few months of use.

Don’t know if it has a scent I just drop it in the toilet as instructed and flush so far so go I’m on the second month and no signs of any kind of back ups so I’m guess it’s working, OST a lot less than rid-x Rid-X has gone up in price $8.00 from $6.58

there is no picture, of rear of product. so you have to wait till it arrives to see under product description on back "One capsule serves septic tanks of up to 700 gallons" so if you have a 700 gallon tank your good to go. If not do the math. p.s. my tanks 2000 gallon so this will be going back.

The capsule packing is very professional and clean. I tried several products before from a messy powder which was complicated to measure to a grain / sand bacteria that floated in the toilet water and took attempts to flushed completely. Flush Time controlled bad odors very quickly. I will continue using the this product and highly recommend it.
