A coffee table book that I actually read all the way through. It had great photos, tips and so much inspiration. Highly recommend!

For anyone who likes to entertain on any scale (whether small or grand), "You're Invited" is a must-have for all of its inspiration. It is clear that the author not only has impeccable taste, but also puts so much love and attention into all of her celebrations, whether it's a family Christmas brunch, or a pool party, or a grand milestone birthday dinner. The book is so inspiring that I have had several dreams this week of future celebrations I intend to host. From invitations, to table decor, to delicious recipes, to floral arrangements, this book covers it all. Highly recommend!

The lovely Mrs. Shafran, I have to tell you, was my very first assistant in my now 50 year decorating business! It was years ago. However, her taste, elegance, warmth, and her love of entertaining was evident from day one! The reason I hired her!I adore this girl, and I am proud beyond that she has written this beautiful, beautiful book!I am especially proud that it has encouraging tips and thoughtful advice to anyone entertaining on any level.One does not have to be "fancy" to gain a great deal of knowledge and wonderful ideas from this book! It is a great book to give a newlywed to save for a lifetime! Love of people, love of entertaining.....it is all here. Brilliant, actually! A great gift for anyone who loves to have a party! Really, any kind of party!My husband and I were lucky enough to go to many wonderful parties of her parents.....which inspired her love of entertaining. She learned all the important things! Absolutely love this book! It is cohesive and full of a variety of beautiful color schemes, themes and enviable dinnerware and decor. In addition to being a visual delight, the book has helpful tips, advice and recipes. I gifted a copy to an event planner friend and she is making it a go-to reference for upscale events.Very inspired to throw a party and up my flower game, as well as add to my budding collection of tableware!

I have to admit I rarely give formal or fancy dinner parties but I do like to look at beautiful tablescapes and flowers and this book delivers. It's a gorgeous hard cover coffee table type of book. Pretty pictures to browse through on a dreary rainy afternoon. Handy tips and I have to say the host has a couple of gorgeous homes. I probably wouldn't pay full price for the book but at Amazon's reduced price I am very happy I bought it.

This book is just beautiful. Every photograph, every page - the colors are lush and enveloping. It is a delight to read through. As someone who is not wired to endeavor to create such extraordinary beauty when entertaining, it did give me hope with easy instructions and lovely recipes. This truly is an exquisite book.

Wonderful atmosphere, elegant surroundings, the book isn’t about informing , it’s to be used from the ones that are looking for more than inspection sharing ideas for a lovely time with friends , family and eleganceI think, we all can take a look be inspired and make our own interpretation for a beautiful table party atmosphere and most of all design and interior isn’t to be copied but its there to help with idea and inspiration.I loved the idea of absolute elegance Stephanie Booth had created in her parties the food presentation for sophisticated atmosphere makes you feel so relaxed and classy yourself. Isn’t that way we create our surroundings to fell in the way we are for , music, decorating, food, clothes all about mood and feelings, expressing !!!
