DRxNoze Nosebleed Relief

Product is horrible.While I consider myself relatively young and active, I am on blood thinners the rest of my life. I have also had a long history of nose bleeds. This can be a bad combination at times.I purchased 3 different kinds of nosebleed clotting agents, and this one was simply unusable. I opened the box to find the chemicals had eaten away at the packaging materials--not completely, but it was noticeable. When I opened up the individual packet, the "sponge" applicator was falling apart. The chemicals seemed to have an adverse effect on that, too. I will never purchase this again, and I would strongly encourage any person considering buying a product like this to get something different.

I'm hoping to get Amazon's attention from this review. I received this order two days ago and one day later had a nosebleed. I inserted the little spatula with what appeared to be a spongy tip impregnated with substances designed to stop the bleeding. There was a decided stinging sensation from the bleeding source however it worked! About a minute after insertion and compression of the nostrils, I withdrew the spatula and the bleeding had stopped! HOWEVER - the spongy tip had totally disappeared and its residue remained in the nostril. I'm of the impression that this was due to deterioration of the tip because of either improper storage or the package having been beyond its shelf life. I am very much hoping that Amazon will forward a freshly packaged replacement. For Amazon: Package was Lot No. M10103.

When I had one of my bad nose bleeds I was hoping this would stop it in it's tracks. Fat chance, the VERY EXPENSIVE swabs crumbled when I opened the individual package. Because I had no idea what it should do I opened another and got it to my nose before it started to fall apart! Clearly it was an old product if it was falling apart? When after I could staunch the bleeding, 1 1/2 hours later! I looked at the box, there is no mfg. or Exp. date. Only a lot number M10103

These are a life saver. My daughter and I have frequent nosebleeds. These are great to keep with you on the go. they have saved a lot of stains from happiness on items when we have nothing handy.

This product has been a GODSEND for my 94 1/2 year old mom who has frequent nosebleeds. And we've tried EVERYTHING. In fact, we tried a similar product (not a swab, but I believe with similar active ingredients) that was a very messy powder. Ugh. Mom is currently bedfast, so cauterization isn't really an option, unless she has a nosebleed so bad that an ER trip is necessary. So far, knock on wood, that hasn't been the case. But she DOES have some gushers. :) Here's the thing: you have to use it correctly per the package instructions. I didn't do that at first. You have to leave the swab in the nose while using something to pinch the nose for a few minutes. Did not work for me. Bleeding was not stopped. The contents seems to dissolve the foil in the packaging. Swab disintegrated in my nose when used. Consider another product.

This stuff is great! The packaging was slightly discolored, but did not effect the product. It stopped my wife's nose bleed in under a minute. In the past it has taken much longer, which is why we sought out this product. It lives up to it's claims.

Let me preface this by saying I've worked in Sports Medicine for 14 yrs now. I know nose bleeds, and personally mine have been horrible this year so wanted to give this a try. It's junk. I used the whole box, different occasions, never once worked in the slightest.
