Oxford School Atlas h/b

This is a very clear and informative atlas which is very well laid out. It has a comprehensive mixture of maps, graphics and social/economic data. The data are represented in charts, symbols and graphs, and on maps which make them easily to understand.I particularly like the representation of separate physical and political maps, ie showing the UK counties clearly and, also, the countries of most continents in clear political maps as well as the physical area equivalent.The country data files will be particularly useful for human geography as will the country data sets together with the pages on world population, development and aid. Physical geography is also well featured with, eg climatic charts world biomes and plate tectonics. It also incluses a useful geology map of the UK.It is always good to see a set of flags for countries, always useful-knowledge for quiz shows!
