A little stiff sitting up but still a great chair for the price
It was easy to assemble and very light weight so easy to move around. Its not the most comfortable, very ridged, when sitting up but it’s nice and comfy when laying back. Maybe it will get a little more comfy once it’s “broken” in a little? Even with it being stiff in the upright position, it’s a really great price, good for smaller rooms and light weight so easy to move around if needed to. And it’s really comfy when reclined!

This chair fits my wife perfectly. She is extremely fussy about her purchases and researches for weeks before making a decision on bigger items. She is 5 ft 2" with rather wide hips but narrow shoulders, so has trouble finding the right fit as far as chairs are concerned. This would not be suitable for a 200 lb or heavier person especially if they are tall but for her it really fits.She rates it 9.5 out of 10.

Cheap, Weak, Broke immediately, hard to return to normal position after reclining
This looked okay when it arrived but as soon as I started using it I realized it was NOT sturdy at all. I found it really HARD to return to the normal position after reclining. Several times I panicked b/c I'm a large person and I got stuck and couldn't get back up b/c it wouldn't "un"recline. I made sure I did not exceed the weight capacity before I purchased it and yet this was so poorly made and built that the chair BROKE after 2 days. The back was attached by two simple, flimsy, thin pieces and when you purchase it you slide the chair back onto these little pieces on the back of the seat so the assembly was easy but it's WEAK - and this part broke. I tossed the chair out. Total waste of money. I couldn't even return it because it's too large an item for me to try to load in the car alone and drive to a return drop off :(

This recliner doesn't recline
I was looking for a recliner that lets me lean back a bit, to relieve pressure on my abdomen. Unfortunately, so far this chair is crunching up my abdomen more than my other furniture already is. There really is no leaning back in it. I would have given it a 1 star, but it gets 2 because the footrest is nice - it opens and closes easily. This recliner just doesn't recline though.

I am happy with this chair
This works perfectly for the small space in my office. I will say, the color is more of an indigo blue than a purple but I am happy with it.

The chair is as advertised and looks like a good chair for the price. Unfortunately, my 86 year old mother-in-law could not get the footrest to latch in the down position. I had no problem, but it is difficult to get latch. She also had a problem with the small footrest release handle. She definitely needs a long handle to raise and lower the footrest.On Friday I scheduled a return for the next business day. UPS showed up on Saturday to pick the recliner chair and it was not ready. On Monday I called UPS to request a pick-up and was told that they would charge me for it. I refused to pay again because they showed up early. They still wanted to be paid again.I contacted Amazon, and as usual they just handled it. It shows the great contrast between a twenty-first century customer oriented company and a 20th century firm like UPS, where it hard to find a phone number for a human. I don't know who is at fault for the early pick-up, It could have been Amazon that said the next business day not knowing UPS did not know not to pick it up Saturday, or it could have been that UPS how ignored the "business day" issue. That being said, when I called UPS they should have just handled it. UPS could have contacted Amazon put they just did not care.
