Deviant Behavior (11th Edition)

I am of course reading this for my college course, but I actually want to purchase it to have. It has wonderful easy to comprehend information and it's so interesting.

I used this text in an advanced 400 level class in Sociology, in which I found it to be a very insightful text and one where additional information for each chapter could be found for further research.This in one text I will keep in my small academic library.

Great book. Easy to read and understand and also very interesting. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in deviant behaviors

It gives a widened perspective on the devience in society. All things unlawful and demoralizing are show through a great perspective seperated down to statistical analysis and history. I highly recommend this book if you are wanting a better understanding of our devient world.

For the price, this is a great used copy to rent. I love renting from Amazon. It's easy, affordable, and convenient.

I'm a sociology undergrad, so this was one of my required textbooks. I really enjoyed reading it, unlike many of my other textbooks. It's not dry. The style is very engaging.The only thing with this textbook is the content. Some claims doesn't have statistical evidences required to make it factual. Many "fact" sounds too much like opinion of the writer.As a good a general book, it was interesting and informing to read. But as a textbook, it's flawed. Thus the 3.5 stars I am giving as my review.

One of the best college textbooks I have purchased. Initially I rented this textbook but now coming to an end of this semester I have decided to pay for the purchase price and keep it. This is hands-down a great and valuable book worth keeping in your library!

I rented a copy and it's missing almost the entire first chapter. The book is in deplorable condition and is not fit to be rented out. The cover is separated from half of the pages that *are* there.I suppose they couldn't think of anything more "deviant" than some dyed hair and mohawks to put on the cover, but I just needed the book for a class; any disagreements I may have with the text's ideas are irrelevant in this context and I'll discuss them in my class. My one-star rating of the book is due to its physical condition.

A surprisingly interesting read from what I thought was going to be another dry and useless textbook- glad school made me buy it (I may even keep it for further reading!)
