I purchased a pair of these batteries because their price was unbeatable compared to the original DEWALT batteries for our drill—two of these cost about the same as one original. I was pleasantly surprised by their performance, offering solid power and impressive longevity. We use our drill regularly to lift and lower 45-60lb rugs on our wall-mounted rug-rack, and these batteries have been outstanding. They hold their charge well and are noticeably lighter than the originals, which makes a big difference during extended use. Updated 2/1/21The manufacturer rep contacted me about the shipment, as it was strange that both were dead. The rep reached out and asked if I would want a replacement set shipped out as well. That was great customer service, and I was really happy that they reached out.The new batteries arrived a bit more than a week ago, and they were charged and tested today. Both worked flawlessly, and did so on each charger (one per). These were a different color, so it may have been a shipping mismatch.Anywho, massive upgrade to the review, and will certainly buy from them again without hesitationI was able to use both of these right out of the box, as they had a pretty good charge. They went into an older dewalt brad nailer, which i was able to fire off a few shots, and complete a project. It was when I went to charge them both, that it went wrong. They both are now stone dead after 1 charge. They were both charged on different model DeWalt chargers, but both immediately dead after that first charge.So, in the trash they went. As much as i hate buying overpriced products from Dewalt, I do at least know they'll work.Save your money, look elsewhere.

Perfect replacement batteries at a much better price!

I do not know how many people will read this review but I hope it prevents all further sale of this total 18v nmh battery that is a complete piece of garbage and its best point. To qualify myself I know television like to boast of individuals credential to make them sound authoritative so I well in hopes of convincing people not to not only throw away their money on the product and I use the term product loosely. I have a PhD in physics and engineering from pretty good schools. I also work for the most accomplish companies on the planet. Not a brag but for my credibility. This product does not only not function once the initial factory charge is depleted in often results in Servier damage to the Dewalt tools contact points and also destroys the Dewalt battery charger after a few frustrating tries to charge it which the Dewalt or any other compatible battery charger cannot also charge. I tested this battery and reach the specific NiMH chemistry it used, the safety features it claimed to have and found out this particular Chinese manufacture in absolute in the farad business and sells many other worthless products. Please note this is Not true for many Chinese manufactures. Many of them sell very good batteries BUT NOT THIS ONE. Please use an alternate manufacture and DO BUY THIS BATTERY. Have a very good day. The media could not be loaded. I have much-loved older Dewalt hand-held drill/driver and light set. The original battery gave up a couple years ago. I initially replaced them with another non-OEM set of batteries, but those didn’t hold a charge very long and were not ideal.This set of Lordone batteries are MUCH better and perform more like the original Dewalts. They last a good time in use, and also hold a charge when stored for weeks in the case.They are a perfect fit for the tools (some others seem to fit, but can be difficult to release).These a quality replacement to keep your older Dewalt tools working.

These batteries fit well and work well in my Dewalt tools, BUT, they do not work or even fit my Dewalt charger. They don't go all the way in the slots,and when I try to remove them, they are hard to get out. DON'T BUY THESE.

I bought these to replace the pair of old NiCad batteries that came with an 18v Dewalt drill which I inherited from my father-in-law.Some reviews have said that these are difficult to remove from a drill once placed. I have not had that experience. Both batteries are easy to install or remove. I even lucked out that Dad's old charger is compatible with all battery types.These batteries can handle tough tasks and they recharge quickly. If you have older (18v) Dewalt equipment in need of batteries, these are just about perfect. After all, just because something's old doesn't mean you have to throw it away.
