Berkley Spiral Rod Holder , Red

I have never used any kind of rod holder before but this thing is awesome. Goes deep enough in the ground to be good and sturdy and holds onto the rod very well. Very well made!!!

These rod holders are excellent and do a really good job of holding your fishing pole or rod in place.

Pretty simple. May not fit rods that have a thicker handle on the end; one of my rods had a pretty snug fit

If your looking for a cheap rod holder for the lake or the river this are amazing

These are very sturdy, very portable. They aren't too versatile. They don't hold all fishing rods. Some grips don't fit in these ones, they are good value for your money they work very well.

Works great

I slip this in a pen slot on my hip bag while walking the beach fishing.It only takes a second to deploy, and provides a convenient place to place my rod while retying or unhooking a fish, keeping my expensive reels out of the sand.I would not use it on the beach to hold my rod with bait in the water.Works in a pinch for that purpose in the dirt, though.

It has no stability like a small blade to reinforce the holder if something hits bait it just going to come out the ground the spiral coil is too small for regular poles

This does exactly what it’s intended to do. It’s thick steel so it won’t bend and stays firm in the ground when you push it in or prop it between rocks. It has a thick paint coat so it should last a long time. As for some of the other reviews where they are saying a rod doesn’t fit in...I’m not too sure what type of rods they are using because any general lake/river fishing rod should fit in no problem. Ours fit inside with a bit of wiggle room. Would purchase again and worth every penny for the price.

It's good for smaller fishing rods

Made with thick solid metal. Very sturdy. For narrow handles. Works great.
