Ver informative for first-time rebuilds, but the book is laid out in a strange way, the chapters skip around a lot and it can be a little confusing.

The book is good for the newbie, I found a couple of procedures out of order which could get somebody Pi**ed off . The books jumps around a little bit which could cause you to get confused if you never been inside a diffy .That's the reason for the 4star rating .It does cover other items such as how to make a tool to measure how fat a tire you can stuff under your car ,, drum brake converting to disk and some other handy info.

Very detailed and informative repair manual for my toolbox! Helped me rebuild my differential successfully without any prior experience. Details how to tear apart and reassemble.

Great book. SA puts out great books. have a lot of them. This one is no exception. I do wish it went a little more in-depth on carrier identification. Also, this book jumps around abit. don't let that scare you, its still a great book with valuable information.

I had to review the book and now remember this book is all over the place, it goes into disassembly of the rear then to upgrading brakes then to removing the ring gear then choosing different types of suspension it makes it very hard to follow. I wish it had start to finish disassemble clean and build back up including setting the correct shims all in the same section the other info is valuable but very distracting when trying to follow it on a computer while doing the task.
