If you can't find it on Amazon you don't need it! I have had this Black & Decker drill for at least 20 years and I never thought I would be able to find the rechargeable batteries for the versa pack. I bought a special tip for my drill to quickly raise and lower the scissor jack on my camper, but my original batteries just didn't hold a charge anymore. So, I found these on Amazon and they worked like a charm. They even fit in the original charging port. They had enough power that they even lifted my camper. This was a way cheaper solution than buying an impact driver. Very pleased!

Glad to find replacements for a 20 year old tool.
I have a complete set of Black & Decker tools that use this battery. some are all about 23 years old. Things like a little skill saw, jig saw, rotary tool, etc. I needed to use the rotary tool and none of my batteries would charge. I didn't have much hope in finding replacement batteries, but was surprised that a dealer carries them. The shipment was quick with Sunday delivery, the batteries arrived with a charge and they worked very well in my rotary tool. I like the B&D stuff because they are light, even though I have tons of the more powerful 18V Battery run tools.

It should be easy to use /remove...... it is not
Does not fit the tool. Gets stuck and is very difficult to remove to recharge. Very inconvenient to have to stop work to take time to mechanically remove the battery....kinda kills the whole reason for having a convenient battery powered tool

Don't know if these are good or not :-(
These came quickly. I charged them overnight, then tried them in several different Versa Pak tools. They didn't work. These tools are old and haven't been used in ages because of lack of batteries. I honestly don't know if the tools or the batteries were the problem. We knew the risk- and don't feel too badly, because the batteries weren't expensive. I had hoped for a better result, though!

Very good replacement batteries
I have an older black and decker drill. I could not find replacement batteries for it. So I tried amazon. These are the correct batteries for my drill. They charged up and worked beautifully. I would recommend thee batteries if you have an older drill that need replacement batters instead of buying a new drill.

DID NOT FIT replacement Black and Decker
I hoped to replace battery to my B & D scumbuster but these did NOT fit. Too tight/fat around. Disappointed.
