The size that was recommended to me was a large & they kept slipping down during the wedding I was attending. Suggest buying a size smaller than you think you might wear. Expensive, but I’m hoping to get lots of use out of them.

I believe that this brand is expensive but they don’t run easily, stay up and are very flattering! I always receive compliments when I wear them!

These truly ARE the best thigh highs on the planet. The band is super comfortable, wide enough to minimize any ugly bulging, and they comfortably stayed put ALL DAY! I didn’t have to adjust not even once. And they are strong, I think with good care hand washing, etc, they will last a while. Life changing. 👍🏼👍🏼🎉

My gut intuition said don't spend $50 on a pair of thigh highs for my wife, but it was Valentine's Day, and I must admit I was feeling particularly amorous after viewing the product :0The money, it turns out, would have been better spent on just about anything, as this product did not hold up as advertised. My wife got a run in one stocking by the end of the evening, and a small tear in the top band of the other one. While your mind might drift back to the fact that it was, in fact, Valentine's Day, you should know this happened during a very low-key evening of dinner and drinks, well before where I'm sure some of your minds are headed :)Anyway, she ended up getting about 4 hours of use out of these. That equates to about $12.50 per hour of usage. If this is the kind of price you're used to paying for stockings, then by all means, jump on board with these!I actually figured they must have been defective, to be quite honest, based on the solid reviews. I wrote to the company to request a new pair for my wife based on this fact, and was declined (albeit politely). This leads me to question why the company won't stand behind it's product. I was led to think that this company is "top-of-the-line" when it comes to this product, but no longer feel that way based not only upon my wife's experience with the product, but by the flat denial that the product could in any way be defective after becoming unwearable after 4 hours of light use.Pretty weak if you ask me.

The nylons fit was very comfortable, and they stayed up on the leg. Unfortunately I was wearing them with sandals, and had a toe run on the first wearing. Given the cost of these nylons the fact that they ran with a wearing of about 4 hours seems not worth the value for money

This Wolford is the first stay up stocking Brand where the top lacey part doesn't have a skinny cinching elastic. These stockings use the stretchy wide lace band and silicon stripping inside to adhere to your skin to stay up. So they actually look just the the photo, smooth, with no bumps or bulges. I ordered size XS and they fit nice. Not too snug. For size reference I am 110 lbs, 5ft 2, with skinny legs. Mid thigh is 17 " circumference and top of thigh is 20" circumference.I love these. (I hate wearing full pantyhose as I find them incredibly uncomfortable and unflattering). I got them in gobi color which is the standard Tan/nude color that is most popular.
